anti-tme/tma-users publicised some stuff against you, reblogging from someone who implied you were defending a pedophile, instead of being anti-harassment
TIT blog was harassed over being anti harassment. (which is crazy cuz like. it wasnt abt ISFF.. we had literally just been harassed for being a system by people on another platform.. and we saw like several situations of people on here being harassed in very transphobic ways.. thats. why the post was made.)
Only thing I've ever said on ichliebe mein kissen is that people are using this as an excuse to spread misinfo about the topic she bastardized.
ISFF was eluding to a real conversation about what the actual definition of pedophile means and topics of CSA. And you need to understand that before interacting with the conversation about her cuz if youre take is "pedophile = child rapist so she's bad" you don't actually know why what she said is wrong.
i find treating a serious topic that is delicate asf as just something to post on your queercourse blog (which lets be real thats what ISFF was) and then saying weird shit is bad.
Which I went in depth about.
Saying "pedophile doesnt mean child rapist so not liking them is like hating trans women" should set off alarm bells for you cuz anyone whi gives a fuck about pedophile vs child rapists and what words mean and the importance of that would not say that, her comparing a paraphilia disorder to OCD about having said disorder should ring off alarm bells because anyone who cares about these conversations would not say that, shit like that. It's very weird how she handled this topic..
(also people say she also used youthlib wrongly during this but idk what youthlib means -- unless it's like the childrens rights activists, which from my understanding is about how children are seen as property leading to like abuse and stuff. like i saw a post from one years ago talking about how it was weird how in america children don't get their own constitution of rights, but idk anything about that convo. if you do, dear reader, do elaborate for me.)
I never defended her. I asked for people to think for more than two seconds. Every post cannot be "ima just use pedophile in a different way than you are!!" because it's ignoring the conversation that should be happening. There IS harm with what she said and it's being ignored by losers who wanna make a quick tumblr post.
I wont go too in depth on what I think is happening cuz it's very conspiratorial, but I will anyways cuz I have before in other places,
I think she looked at this conversation (the one around paras), seen that it was very delicate, and bastardized it. she knows what shes doing, she knows she has an audience. she wants to polarize people more. THATS my true beliefs but I can't really express that when everyone still can't get why what she said is wrong. I think she very intentionally said some really weird shit to make her followers who wont blindly believe her leave and everyone who will will dig themselves in a hole where they wont. And then everyone who defends her will be harassed making them feel more justified in their opinions and shit, similar to how cults do.. (tho i cant explain this right at all.)
I think you'd be valid in saying something like:
• she's conflating all these things, making it harder for people to actually understand the topic, and almost co-opting it. similar to how predators do in conversations like this. major red flags are everywhere. if she cared about discussing how pedophile just means attraction she would either be advocating for people to get help and stigma to end around people who want help, or it'd be about how SA is not always about attraction. A lot of the time it's about power, like all abuse. It's not somebody who has an attraction they just HAVE to act on, it's a willful choice to exploit somebody.
[edit: which is really close to what some people are saying which is she wants people to let their guard down around predators, kind of pro-grooming behavior I guess you can say.]
^which is a take i've seen and i've respected but i don't feel confident enough to fully put my faith in because I never followed the ISFF saga too closely so idk if that's like,, super duper conspiracitorial or really close to what it seems like she's doing. (i would love to read other peoples opinions, but everyone instead is going 'pedophile bad')
