Goodbye
Hello everyone,
I hope you’re all doing well. I wanted to let you know that I’ve decided to stop sharing CC finds and my Sims creations. This wasn’t an easy decision, but I’ve uninstalled EA and The Sims 4 from my computer because, honestly, the game just doesn’t bring me the same joy anymore.
The cost of the packs, needing a powerful PC to run everything smoothly with all my mods, and the fact that I’ve only been playing in CAS for the past year have made me realize that my passion for the game has faded. Without most of the packs and mods, it’s clear how much the new content tries to make up for the game's shortcomings. It’s not the idea of The Sims that bothers me, but the way it’s been handled.
I also feel like The Sims 4 has become too expensive for younger players to really get into, just because of how much it costs to keep up with all the packs. I know you don’t need them all, but the gameplay you see on YouTube can be pretty different from the actual experience, and mods have become essential. This account and my CC finds have been my way of contributing to the Sims community, and I know a lot of us share the same frustrations with how EA has been handling things.
At this point, I have other things going on in my life, and I can’t spend as much time on this account. The Sims 4 has always been a fun hobby for me, but it doesn’t fulfill me the way it used to. I’m really sorry to say goodbye, but life is changing, and it’s time for me to move on. I just wish the developers could bring back the magic for those of us who have lost it.
I hope you all enjoy the rest of your summer. I’m genuinely happy for those of you who still love the game, and I wish I could feel the same way.
