Choosing an unpopular character as your favorite like

Long time no see Tumblr!! Well, lots has occurred in my absence! Most notably I no longer have a large intestine as my Ulcerative Colitis got so bad that no medication would work and I was at severe risk of a perforated bowel. Delightful! So I had my sub-total colectomy on the 24th August. 5 day hospital stay was on the cards and then I managed to escape to continue my recovery at home. So far so good. It’s getting easier to move around each day and being able to eat without vomitting is a huge bonus! I’m already getting a glimmer of what my life can get back to, so that’s very exciting. 5 years of debilitating illness really takes it out of you! Apart from a few hiccups and teething issues with bag leaks and sore skin, myself and ‘Louis’ my stoma are getting on like a house on fire. Also, in April of this year myself and my boyfriend became first time home owners, so that was super exciting! Been decorating lots and changing carpets and everything is more or less done to our tastes for now. I love our new home, it’s so much quieter than our rented flat and we have so much space and a lovely garden for the dogs and my bunny. Life is good!
