I Made Plungers for the Tucks Parade

I decorated these 3 plungers for the Tucks parade:

1) Witch and black cat flying on a plunger

2) New Orleans street lamp and street sign plunger

3) Space shuttle launch plunger

They all turned out really well. The street lamp and the shuttle both light up.

I'm already brimming with ideas for future plungers!

I Made a Rosa Parks Shoe for Muses.

Mardi Gras is a busy time of year! My friend is in Muses and I've been helping make shoes. These are some of the ones I made: Sailor Moon, Sailor Mars, Sailor Venus, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

I Made Throws for the Chewbaccus Parade.

I've been hard at work wrapping up my throws for Chewbaccus! My subkrewe is Sailor Moon-themed, so all our throws are about Sailor Moon. 🌙💖🌙💖🌙 The top photo is of bandolier blocks I made for each character and the bottom photo is of magnets I made and doubloons I painted. I made several hundred of each.

Whole wheat muffins with apples, carrots, oats, sunflower seeds, and rum-soaked raisins.

Teal-colored paper beads, hand-rolled from suminagashi prints I made last week, alternated with gold Miyuki seed beads. Birthday present for my mom.

Suminagashi is a Japanese technique for marbling paper with ink (traditionally calligraphy ink). I will turn these into a necklace for my mom.

I made it from a bamboo dowel and 3 wood stars that I glued together. Painted silver with glitter embellishment.
