The beast perks up, it's tail wagging. It turns its head towards where the others voice came from.

The creature nearly pounced on the other, clinging onto them tightly.

"I have missed you.."

Wow how cat-like.. His tail settles, wrapping around the hacker. You wonder how such a hateful being could be this... Domesticated? Something along the lines of that.

It looked around, head frantically swiveling as if looking for Shedletsky to make sure he wouldn't just appear randomly to pry him off of his lover.

It looked back at the ex-hacker, tilting its head a bit.

"How have you been."

It was more of a statement than a question but it was still asking nonetheless.

"Well.. pretty much the same, lots of pain but heh.. Ive been worse?"

[He shrugged a bit, scratching his skeletal arm bones]

It tilted its head, examining the other for injury or anything that could've caused said pain.

[ He chuckled a bit and looked up at them ]

" Well the endless.. Torment of this place plus that Spectre.. Stealing my children.. and lots and lots more. "

His worry furthered, it clung to the other tightly. It's tail lashed around. It felt concern..

"I will keep you safe."

" Thank you.. But. I'm sure that IT won't let you do that.. it hates happiness. "

It seemed serious about this, determined even.. It nuzzled closer to the other. It didn't ever understand what it felt with 7 but it was positive and that's all it needed.

The parasite let's out a low rumbling noise similar to purring.

[ He didn't respond not sure what to say, even if it was determined it was the Spectre's world.. There's really nothing to do to protect anyone people loves.. He would know. ]

It purred, nuzzling against the other. Soon it let go of the other to sit on the grass, pulling them into its lap. His hair hung like a curtain, it was so long, and unkept...

It's tail thumped against the grass, showing how much appreciation it had for the man.

Seems someone caught c00lkidd's attention. A different 1x and that was all he needed to know...didn't stop him from sending one of his delivery boys though to offer him a slice of pizza as a peace offering.

It'd ask who was there if it hadn't been busy devouring that pizza. The only food it's had in years.

C00lkidd gave a gulp before inching his way out of his hiding spot. It wasn't long before the beast could see the small hacker of a kid. His GUI was up and active thanks to his delivery boy being used like this. He couldn't help but feel nervous still, even as he gave a small wave.

"H-Hey. Need more? You...You look really hungry seeing how you downed that slice."

It stared at the small red creature, has he seen this thing before? Surely it has, somewhere..... Somewhere it has seen this thing.

"No."

A lie, but with how straight-faced this thing was it was hard to tell. It was quite hungry.. but would it ask or take from a child. No.

He pokes his fingers together as he wasn't lying exactly. The small hacker soon glanced up and met the beast's gaze when it knelt down. Aw...he did shrink since his freedom and he started to notice that.

"I didn't really think I'd find someone though. My GUI's acting weird so I'm glad I saw you. You're not showing up on the tracker."

"Do you not have a parent to take care of you? You are but a small child."

Whoever this 1x is, they must not be from here because obviously he doesn't know of Coolkidd or 7n7.

"Small children usually stick with their parents, no?"

It put a hand to it's chin in thought before looking at the kid again.

"Maybe your technology is broken."

Or maybe 1x is breaking it, it has a tendency to do that on accident. Break nearby technology.

"I...I don't think my dad's around anymore. Woke up and didn't see him anywhere. Been like that for a few days now."

He finally admitted as he glanced away from it. The mention of the technology breaking made him shake his head.

"No, it's still working. It's how I'm getting food. Might just be the tracker though so you could be right."

"I see. Your father is the one with the strange hat, yes?"

He's sure he's seen one of the red children hanging around the man with the burger on his head.

The parasite brushes hair out of its face, tail thumping on the ground as it thinks.

He couldn't help but pull up the GUI again. Not a single blink on the tracker once he showed it. Though it did start blinking as it registered the parasite, much to his own surprise.

"Oh, now you want to work? Man, I need to update..."
