Amiri Baraka (1934-2014) is widely known as a major poet and playwright. He’s also known as an important figure in the history of Black nationalism and the Marxist left. 

But did you know that Amiri Baraka was a fantastic dresser? From his Ivy Style  years in the downtown New York literary scene in the early 1960s, to the decidedly Trad professorial look of his later years, Baraka knew classic menswear.
