Everyone, I wanted you to meet “Clementine”, she is the latest addition to my growing collection of completed Art journals!! Clementine was particularly an interesting endeavor to complete, because I feel like the past six months while I was working on her, I have learned and grown immensely with my own artistic style and identity…I’ve learned to free myself from self doubt, or fear of my artwork being rejected, and allow myself to make mistakes, & to not hold myself to any standards of what my art should look like. “You Only Live Once” Acrylic, Spray Paint, Original Mixed Media Painting on Canvas. This one was so much fun to paint! I added the jewel accents from a broken candle that I absolutely adored and it just felt right when added with the colors. Ppl will be like “end the stigma around mental illness uwu” but still judge you if you’re unemployed or single or not completely self-sufficient or healthy or perfectly groomed or still live with parents and don’t see the hypocrisy in that whatsoever
