This is the admin for this blog. Can we please refrain from asks and anons calling deacon things like ‘whore’ or otherwise objectifying him? I understand it was a bit in the beginning, and no hate to anyone sending that sort of thing. I as an admin have become uncomfortable with it (it’s started to border on sexual harassment) and I would like it to stop.

I’m sure there are Kindred out there who practice a wide range of religions. There’s even some private religions that only vampires practice.

There are others, however, who do ‘burn up’ like you’re sayin. Every vampire has somethin, some weakness. Could be entering houses without permission, or crosses and religious memorabilia like you’re tryin to say.

And by burn up, it’s usually just a gut feeling, something sick in your stomach that doesn’t let you go into that house, or touch that rosary.

But either way, gifts aren’t usually the problem.

You're an old ass vampire so I'm sure you'd know the answer, can vampires have piercings? Like would the superhuman healing affect them and cause them to reject?

I had them before I got turned, so I’m not exactly sure. @sheriff-deacon-keller has some however, maybe he could answer your question?

Great question. There aren’t a lot of materials that can properly pierce a vampire. Silver would burn too much, anything else would bounce off or be healed too quickly to become a proper piercing.

However, there is a sect of vampires that specify in body modifications. Called the tzimisce (tzi-meet-see), they have the power to wield flesh and bone like its clay, and revel in making themselves appear as monstrous as they can. Letting the beast shine through, so to speak.

Many vampires go to a tzimisce clansperson if they are interested in some kind of modification like a piercing or whatnot. Although, it may usually come at a price.

Magnus and Arthur killed Samuel, the grimslayer leader, and Magnus now has said Amber, and I'm pretty sure of you were to fight again he'd use it.
