     he’s not phased by the other’s lack of emotion about his injuries; carl’s become desensitized too. after a while, you just stop caring, focus instead on healing and continuing rather than your feelings.  fingers absentmindedly pull his hair in front of his bandage. he knows the guy isnt insulting him, but his eye has always been an insecurity since it happened. ❛        carl. you sure you’re okay? whoever’s blood that is, it looks like they put up one heck of a fight.         ❜
