Elizabeth chuckled and nodded. “We need to stop by the pet supply store and get a load of stuff. And….you need to tidy the flat. It’s not safe for small curious fluffy puppies.” She pointed out.

“Fine” Sherlock began picking things up off the floor and tossing them to their respective places then making sure everything is off the floor as well as everything was in it’s correct place within the flat

Well that hadn’t quite been what she had expected, but it would do for now. “Thank you…” Elizabeth smiled to her brother and got up from the floor to get the leash from the table. “Okay. Let’s take him for a walk to get supplies…”

“I mean…It was fine. I just think we need to go into more detail about it. Like keeping sharp objects away. That harpoon In the corner has to go, and we can’t have mystery chemicals hanging around the place…what if he eats them?!” Elizabeth was usually so calm and collected and mostly uncaring about the the state of the flat, but not today. Not when it matters.

“My harpoon?” he frowned “And they aren’t mystery they all have labels on them” sherlock furrowed his brow “what’s wrong darling?”

“…I don’t know. I’m just…I honestly don’t know Sherlock. Just know that this is a very important responsibility for us and we have to take care of Redbeard as well as possible.” Elizabeth sighed as she looked down at the puppy walking along side them.

“of course” sherlock smiled again “why wouldnt we?” sherlock looked down at the puppy “He’s family now and we take care of our family right lizzy dear?” he looked back at liz
