          BEATRICE LOOKED AROUND them for something else they could make useful. If only B were he – he was quite the inventor. A ways away Beatrice spotted a dim light. Light almost always meant one of three things: people, shelter, or a fire.

“     Perhaps we ought to take our chances & head towards that dim light.”

Kit  will  sigh  &.  raise  her  spyglass ,  attempting  to  get  a  better  look  at  the  light’s  source   before  turning  to  face  her  companion  with  a  shake  of  her  head .

“ I  couldn’t  see  anything .  There’s  a  50/50  chance  that  light  is  trouble ,  I  say  we  go  for  it . ”

Kit  will  place  a  gentle  hand  on  Beatrice’s  shoulder  &.  give  it  a  soft  squeeze .  “ I  don’t  think  it’s  possible  to  feel  the  same  as  you  did .  People  change  with  experience -  there’s  no  avoiding  it .  You’ll  struggle  with  it  for  a  bit ,  but  everything  will  settle  eventually . ”
