there is little in this world that can cause her heart to ache. she has been deemed an abomination, locked away from the world that fears what they don't understand. KILLED for simply existing. her existence has been one fraught with loneliness, sorrow, hate & pain. her heart is a battlefield, lined with burned trenches and shattered barricades and still bleeding wounds. she has learned to overcome it all despite it, but scars never go away. fear never truly goes away, either. and loving another comes with a fear far greater than she ever has come to face.

they are not the type of people who are deserving of happiness is what many would say. less so even love. but somehow, they found it. a mess of a woman and an enigma of a man. somehow, they found each other and she finds something else that takes her breath away and leaves her thinking her heart is on fire.

she knows goodbye. it's an old friend, almost as old as death itself. from a look, from a glance, from a touch. Lacie knows when she is faced with that word and always does she harden her heart to lessen the ache. it never truly works. it didn't when her parents left her, when her brother CONDEMNED her and now, nothing soft & sweet. but now, it held a bittersweetness to them she wants to forget. to never remember ever again. she returns it, drawing it out in an attempt to keep him there, to convince him to stay with no words.

if only it was ever that easy.

she pulls away first, releasing him to quickly step back, crimson eyes trained on his face, on that expression. she wants to speak, but no words come. what could she say? as always, they were like ships, passing through the night over and over. part of her wonders if that will ever be broken. a moment longer she holds his gaze before sharply turning, walking away. she won't allow herself to see him leave off into the night. to be victim to the hope that his hesitance to leave means he was staying. she's already hoped for far too much. and a woman can only endure heartbreak so many times before there isn't a heart to break anymore.

Why are they spitting there tea out

They’re spitting the tea out because Oswald is bad at making tea/his tea always tastes horrible (this is mentioned in a Caucus Race 3 short story). Levi will tell Oswald that his tea tastes terrible, but he enjoys drinking it regardless. That’s why he is spitting it out, but still has a happy expression on his face, rather than the doom and gloom expressions that Lacie and Jack have. He seems to be the only one who enjoys Oswald’s tea on some level though! XD

Hmm.....probably my eye color. It's a very dark brown, almost black in a lot of lighting and I just..... wish I had my dad's pale blue eyes akdbsja. as for a feature I like about myself, it's probably be my body type in general. For a long time I didn't like it because I wasn't of a small height and petite but I actually love it now. TO PUT IT IN SIMPLE TERMS I'm built more like an Amazon I.e. tall, somewhat broad shoulders, muscles but I do got the curves too

DEEPLY INHALES. I roleplay so many characters, have roleplayed so many and it is IMPOSSIBLE to have one favorite, but Lacie and Diana are definitely high up there. I just-- it's so easy and comfortable for me to write them, even if time passes, I have no problem picking them up again. I love them so much and always enjoy writing them!!!,
