He was awfully pretty, Gendry thought. He was something like a painting; wonderful to look at, but it was best not to touch. The young woman wondered just how much the man controlled his appearance at any given moment. It seemed exhausting. The glint of sun that bounced off of the helmet she held reminded the girl of her purpose. She wasn’t meant to watch the young man train, not when there was work to be done.
“Ser Loras,” she started, approaching the man. “I have your helmet. Master Mott hopes that the changes are to your liking.” In reality, she had made the changes. If the Tyrell was going to be cross with anyone due to the alterations, it would be her. She hoped that asn’t the case.
She had hoped that she was done with court for the day, she missed the feel of her bed quite a bit,&& her head ACHED from thousands of the same complaints; some were stupid tavern drama’s, some were her own fault. When an unsullied entered the throne room as swiftly as he did, radiating bad news, she had half a mind to day ‘no’ && retreat to her bedchambers at top speed, still she listened; ‘a girl from the market place seemed suspicious so instead of questioning her we brought her to you’ was all her quite annoyed, VERY irritated mind could make out.
When they dragged the small- very hungry looking, she noticed- female into the room she almost rolled her eyes, the girl looked suspicious in no way, just another resident of Mereen, EXCEPT she didn’t look like she belonged in Mereen, her clothes were too foreign, too different to be from Essos. She straightened herself on her throne, brows furrowing themselves in confusion at the girl before her, she studied her for a moment , messy ink black, the stormy blue of her eyes were noticeable from a mile away. WHO IS SHE?
“I will start by asking your name, && why you THINK you have been brought here”
Gendry didn’t like offending others if they were undeserving. Even then she was no fan of offending royalty. There were things one just didn’t do for their own sake. When the obvious queen asked about the reasons behind the arrest, Gendry bit her tongue.
"Gendry, your grace. I’m not entirely sure why I’ve been brought to you, but I believe it’s due to my presence here. I arrived not long ago, and when I was washing up at the fountain, your guards asked me questions that I was unable to answer at the time.”
Her head hung low for a moment as she took a breath, “Suppose they thought you’d be better at getting me to talk. I’m no threat, I swear to you, your grace.”

Gendry hadn’t realized that she was in the presence of such a woman. She’d been yelling at one of the stable boys, using the most profane language in her vocabulary. The only reason she’d turned around was due to the face the stable boy had made. When she caught sight of the golden haired Lannister. “My apologies, Milady. I hope I didn’t offend.”

Gendry had yet to spend a full month with the Brotherhood. She felt ill prepared for the task at hand. It seemed like something someone else would do. Speaking to a once dead king was not a situation she could prepare for. Though, as she walked toward the man’s temporary dwellings, Gendry attempted to find enough words to string along.
Though as she knocked on the door, she had nothing.
