THE X-FILES: SEASON 1.
May 2020 Illustrations ヽ(• ‿ •)ノ
HOW THE FUCK DID THIS GUY KEEP A STRAIGHT FACE…
you know, just your regular work week.
i want this to be the only news clip in existence for this time period a thousand years in the future.
This is honestly just what catching up on the news is like in 2020.
had this random image before of someone driving up to a pair of millennials all terminator style and being like 'get in if you want to live'
and the millennials just look at each other and let the person drive off
I love “how do you do math?” questions. Here’s how my brain does it:
How about you guys?
Seeing this made me realise I've been doing myself dirty in maths for years.
I literally make it way more difficult than it needs to be 😂
20+40=60 and then 7+8=15
60+15=75
This video, hands down, was not filmed on this plain of reality
the only way to experience this video is at half speed
my favourite parts include
glass glass glass made of glass
and
when glass melt...glass
rb to save a person with anxiety!!
I’m in the middle of a panic attack and literally this video itself helped lmao. My brain went from 0 to 100 real quick 😂😂 this is the most chaotic way of helping I’ve ever seen
I thought this was going to be like,,, a joke or something but like this is some solid advise.
The last time I hate a panic attack I sat down and just. ate a raw radish because I didn’t like the taste and it was crunchy. My brain stopped thinking about the panic attack and went to “why the fuck are you eating a radish” and within a minute I felt so much better
Cut to me aggressively gnawing on lemons on an airplane
I heard putting an ive cube in your mouth works too. I’m not sure but I think the coldness shocks your system and brings you out of it,
Imagine if you actually were having a heart attack though and now you're dealing with a fucking awful mouth sensation while your heart goes into cardiac arrest.
If we’re mutuals and I ever awkwardly reply to a post yes that is me trying to communicate with you and I’m very sorry
I was rewatching The Umbrella Academy, and picked up on a few extra details this time around. Like this collection of books in episode one, when Vanya pulls her book off the shelf. Took a little time to interpret them.
Lunar Living - Obviously for Luther.
Higgins Methodology - This is a method used to train dogs to help develop synchronised pack behavior, based on obedience, repetition and pressure. Yup, Reggie was really going for father of the year.
History and Human Relations by Herbert Butterfield - Couldn't find a lot about this book. Maybe Reggie doing some research on humans?
English Philosopher's and Schools of Philosophy by Seth James - A bit of light reading for the kids.
Driving in My Mother's Car - Again, not sure about this one. Couldn't even find it. Reminds me of Five taking the car, though.
Punishment and Reward - Speaks for itself and of Sir Reginald's A+ parenting style.
A Theory On Quantum Physics and Temporal Displacement - I like to imagine this was Five's textbook, reading up as he readied himself for time travel.
A Tramp Abroad by Mark Twain - Since a tramp is a person who travels a lot, generally a homeless person, I'd say this refers to Five again, travelling through the future wasteland. (And maybe, possibly, a bit of Klaus, too.)
The Swedeen Process by Gary Hampton - Okay, so Gary Hampton was an assistant director on the show...would it be a stretch to say it could be 'Sweden' referring to our future assassins?
The Highest Decibel by Natasha Phillips - Natasha was (I believe) a graphic designer on the show, making a lot of the framed newspaper articles about the UA that you see around the house. So I'm going to say this title simply refers to Vanya's powers.
I can't make out the very faded title on that red book!
The Undying Race by Rene Milan - I couldn't find much on this, other than it's rare and translated from French. Possible reference to Reggie's alien origins 👽
The last one I can make out is The Desert of Love by Francois Mauriac - Described as a book that 'traces the psychological and physical torments of a father and son and the woman with whom they both fall in love.' Hm. I might be scraping the barrel here to relate that Diego's relationship with Grace (especially in the second season...got weird vibes).
Feel free to add your own interpretations! It's fun finding these little easter eggs.
Omg, can I also add:
'An incredible read...a revealing portal into the amazing life of Vanya Hargreeves and the life she has lived. I couldn't put it down.
- Gerard Way '
😂

you were meant to save the world...
It’s weird to know that Klaus is the least chaotic version of Robert
I feel like if Robert Sheehan and Russell Brand had a conversation, the world might implode.
Same energy.
