idk who needs to hear this but it’s healthier for you to just accept that you’re gonna be kinda fat than it is to live the rest of your life miserably trying to monitor yourself to maintain a skinny weight your body doesn’t want to hold onto

My one boring tip to anyone in their 20s is to resist the temptation to rot in your room every time you get a free moment. Dismiss any neuroses you have about going outside and "being perceived". Be a dictator about it, plan your hangouts like they are binding commitments. No excuses! Go to the bar with your friends. Be kinda hungover at work. Socializing is like exercise; even if you don't feel like you want to, you should still do it because it's good for you.
The Bear and the Doll / L'Ours et la Poupée (1970) | Dir. Michel DeVille
“I want to be ripped apart by music. I want it to be something that feeds and replenishes, or that totally sucks the life out of you. I want to be dashed against the rocks.”
— Jeff Buckley

the vampires got it right. life is about being bisexual and a little bit pathetic. and going through different levels of depressive episodes
love is not control, love is not a locked door. people are free to come into your life and leave as they will. the people who matter will show up for you and forgive you and choose you. you're going to be okay. you're going to miss people and you're going to meet new ones. you'll fall in love with new cities and you'll make a new favorite meal. letting go is what makes it stay, so let go.
