this  is  a  really  basic  mobile  header  i  created  a  while  ago  that  i  thought  was  cute  enough  not  to  let  go  to  waste  ,  so  i  decided  why  not  just  post  it  !  i  often  used  static  images  ,  but  gifs  would  totally  work  too  .  i  personally  think  the  header  looks  best  when  you  do  not  stretch  the  image  in  your  settings  ,  but  at  the  end  of  the  day  :  you  can  use  this  however  you  would  like  !

it’s great that the tumblr staff is trying to make the site more accessible but the ALT button on images on the dash is overlapping on text and making it impossible to read the actual text so it’s just counterproductive? 

idk if other people are having the same issue and if the staff is going to fix it, but for now i’ve figured out how to remove it using ublock origin. 

right click on the ALT button and block element.

make sure its highlighted in red and then click on create

alternatively you can open the extension options and add this to the list:
