Posting ocs is so embarrassing. Here's my stupid loser I guess. You can kill me if you want

I love revisiting ocs one had as a teenager bc at the time you think their designs are pretty basic, like just regular top and trousers, standard hairstyle etc. and then you look at them over a decade later and are met with the most horrifically early 2010s outfits known to man

#just suddenly remembered these ocs i had in 2014 and they were so like.#so they were basically just personified versions of personality disorders bc i was obsessed with that for some reason?#and they were probably such awful caricatures tbh. but ignoring that like their outfits are absolutely atrocious #for some reason i remember all their names and designs. so much long tops over trousers with a belt not being used as a belt #windswept fringes. that generically 'nerdy' look that was big in the early 10s. one of them just looked like a member of one direction #i remember thinking i had schizotypal personality disorder at the time (and maybe i still do. or not. idk but i do relate to Traits of it)#so the schizotypal one was my favourite so she had the 'coolest' outfit. but looking back on it she was not exempt either #she had that ashley tisdale red carpet sort of look. mixed with how i wanted to dress as a kid #which tbh was probably just the ashley tisdale red carpet look as well #anyway. 14yo me what was wrong with you (a lot) but yeah. i always find that interesting how even when ignoring what's popular #it still shows up in what you do. everything is a product of its time #like when i was 14 i was in my born in the wrong generation complete rejection of the 21st century insufferable era #so i was actively ignoring the popular fashion trends of the time. and yet. i still had a guy looking like a lost member of 1D #anyway #sorry personality disorder havers out there for my 14yo self's crimes #ramble
