post funeral treat last night....its like a reward

My fiancé's great aunt passed away last night. She was a grandmother to them and a second grandmother to me. She was 86 and her body simply could not keep up with her spirit. She was smart, funny, and one hell of a cook. She would always give me $50 on my birthday despite being new to the family and a full grown adult. We spent the past two weekends with her and I'll treasure them with me for the rest of my life. She gave us her blessing when we got engaged and I'll spend our marriage making sure I truly earned it. Aunt Nora I hope heaven never runs out of Sfogliatelle and amaretto coffee. We love you.

also since my priority lately has been eating as well as i can when i can and exercising as well as i can when i can with no set intentional weight loss goals i feel the most physically healthy i have been in quite some time.

and part of that has also been "i have a body why should i hide is just because it is bigger than average. also i have a huge rack i want to display it as much as possible bc i am hot" and this has also been a big game changer for my mental well being and physical too. when ur not ashamed of your body u find urself wanting to take better care of it

I kind of miss the impulsivity that certain spaces used to allow. oh you want a hair cut today? hairdresser in the corner can fit you in before her 2 o’clock. tattoo of a cobra… sure leg or arm? even concerts, back when you could go to the box office thirty mins before any show. not saying these things don’t exist at all, but everything feels booked five months in advance and 10x more expensive
