Well! Hello, hello! It’s been a REALLY long time but I’m back. There will be some changes to this blog, I am going to delete all of my drafts and inbox stuff. Probably redo my theme...I’ll be low activity too, just to let you know. More stuff to be noted as I figure it out.

❛ ❛ It’s tradition on my family to craft your blade. Mine is made from the melted down metal of my grandfather’s blade in a similar design of my father’s with floral tribute to my mother under the band of leather around the hilt and tied to my Prince with the skulls and wings. ❜ ❜ Gladiolus explained with a fond smile lifting the blade to his eye level.

A soft smile pulled to Gladiolus’ lips as his King snuggled his way into his side and immediately wrapped an arm around him. Guiding legs into his lap to massage and rub them idly he leaned his head against Noctis. He leaned his head down and tilted Noctis’ chin up to steal a soft loving kiss full of the words he couldn’t say in public. Fingers weaving with Noctis’ as he heaved a sigh of relief and relaxation.

❛ ❛ Thank gods for that. I would love to lay in bed kissing you softly and tangling up with you in my arms all day. We deserve a nice relaxing night and day tomorrow. ❜ ❜ He smiles down at the King and stole another brief kiss. He was unable to stop himself at the lovely expression.

He watched his master sit down and noting that peering up at him was much easier. He didn’t have to crane his neck as much to see him. He blinked blurrily up at him quietly. He had never been a huge talker. He preferred to listen to talk. Amber eyes frowned at the offered hand before he slowly reached up. His fingers delicately wrapping around Prompto’s, so small and fragile in his own calloused and rough hands, he was mostly used to work generally building and other handy chores.

He listened shock filling his eyes. His Master was actually thinking about taking him to a diner. None of his other masters has done such a thing. He was usually shoved meager foods and water enough to keep his strength up but not enough to have him be strong enough to resist. Not that he ever would, he was a loyal man. His first Master whom had died, often told people such. Deciding to trust his new master he hesitated a few seconds to think if this was a trick or not because slowly nodding. He hadn’t eaten in a few days now nor had he had water. It make the drugs later longer it seemed.

His eyebrows furrowed at the odd reaction. The tension that shot through his Master. He slowly worked to push himself up making sure not to knock himself out by moving too fast. His world spun as he straightened and he nodded in agreement to the words, he hated auctions he was always in them but regardless, he hated the looks people got on that stage, the hunger and desire that filled the room. He again, nodded at the question waiting for his Master to lead the way so he could follow.

Not that anyone currently alive but himself knew that though. ❛ ❛ There is, but there are potions and Phoenix Downs here. ❜ ❜ He pointed out bluntly. Not that he carried any. The supplies of them were low and rare so Gladio bought as little as possible for himself so other people had more.

❛ ❛ I think you would have been a wonderful track runner. Or you couldn’t have been a photographer, you’re really good at that. Even as a track runner you would have had time off or time between matches and training. ❜ ❜ He chuckled softly before humming lightly. ❛ ❛ At least you had a choice, right? I never did. Born and bred to shield the prince. Don’t know anything else. ❜ ❜

❛ ❛ She doing good? ❜ ❜ He asked with a slight tilt of his head. Now that he really looked at him Prompto did seem a bit too thin. He frowned softly in concern. ❛ ❛ Haven’t made it over that way, I tend to stay further out honestly, nothing to go back to the crowded areas for when I’m more useful here. Ignis has been preparing for Noctis to come back though, I call sometimes but he never really picks up so I guess he’s busy. Tried calling you too but I guess your phone is off, tried calling Cindy but I always seemed to just miss you. ❜ ❜ He hummed thoughtfully.

If he was being honest the last time he had been to a more crowded area was months ago. He hunted and lived off the land. Couldn’t stand the thought of being surrounded by people and yet so alone. At least out here surrounded by darkness he felt useful. He had run out of potions a few weeks ago and didn’t care if he died over and over. It seemed no matter how many daemons he killed he wasn’t starting to make a dent and it annoyed him to no end. He was helping with nothing. He was useless.

❛ ❛ You sure? I don’t want to use up your supplies, or your time. ❜ ❜ He mumbled standing and dusting himself off. He had already bothered Prompto by getting his ass handed to him. He didn’t need to waste time or supplies now either. Though it felt as if time was all they had. Feeling there was no choice he followed behind, quietly and watchful.

❛ ❛ I’m surviving, I suppose. Hunting daemons, attempting to help Ignis but he wants to prove he doesn’t need any help. I respect that so I don’t bother him. Mostly been out here taking daemons down and hunting. Don’t go into towns much, ‘cept to turn in stuff for Gil. Noct always said I was boring. ❜ ❜ He snorted softly swallowing the pain that rose in his chest. They didn’t know when Noctis was going to be coming back, but they could hope and pray he would be soon.

“Do they ever get tired of doing that?” Prompto muttered to himself. However, it was loud enough for the man standing beside him to here, a man he didn’t necessarily know. His blue eyes were staring at the crowd of angry humans as they ranted and raved about banning androids. Like the government would ban something that made them money. Well, there were exceptions he guessed. “Honestly, they’re so anno-” he started before turning to the guy. He blinked once and glanced up at him. “Well, hi.” he greeted awkwardly. How long had he’d be there and why the hell hadn’t the android notice him? Okay, he probably didn’t notice because he was too busy being irritated by the protesting humans.

Gladio hummed thoughtfully arms crossed over his chest as he observed the humans in front of him. They were an odd bunch and he didn’t understand them, so ruled by their emotions they let them completely take over instead of guiding them. Like these hate fueled organic beings. He quirked an eyebrow as the little android at his side finally noticed him and dipped his head quietly in greetings.

❛ ❛ No, feel free to continue, I very much agree with you. ❜ ❜ He grunted waving a hand to show he wasn’t about to draw attention. ❛ ❛ These guys have been here for hours now, do they not have something better to do? They complain about not having work but unlike others these people just sit around and yell and complain all day about it. Could use that time looking for another job. They are odd creatures...❜ ❜

Prompto waited at the doorway of the small cabin, eyes on the path that led deep into the forest before it faded away into the distance. It had been horribly empty without his mate, and while he knew that Gladiolus had to go… it seemed odd for him to be late. Sure, a few hours off wasn’t that uncommon, but a entire day… it made the worry of ‘what if’ bubble in Prompto’s chest. But, at least his little ones were there, playing in the piles of clear snow, and knowing not to run too far away. He could watch them, and hope their father returned soon.

Gladio hated being late, not with his mate and children waiting for him at home. But they needed food and a sudden snow storm had kept him trapped in a cave on his way home. It was cleared up now and he carried the larger catch, a good sized buck, over his shoulder and the smaller ones, a few rabbits were attached in a bag on his belt. It was an oddly large caught for this time in the winter, he was thankful for his traps and the tracking skills his father had taught him as a child.

He visibly relaxed at the sounds of his children playing. It only fluttered when he stepped out of the clearing causing joy filled screams of “Daddy!” And little bodies colliding with his own causing him to lose balance in the loose snow as well as the weight of his catch being thrown off balance and tumble to the ground. He dissolved into laughter pressing kisses rosy cheeks as he pushed himself up.

Prompto had to groan when the cries started up again, and with as much grace as he could muster, he pushed himself from the bed in a half-asleep trance. Despite how much he had grown to love the tiny baby, it was hard - and Prompto never functioned well on scattered hours of sleep. But, it needed him, and he could already feel the ache in his chest. He couldn’t just abandon it to be selfish…

So he collected the baby from the cot by the crib, and returned to the bed. Prompto tried to soothe them as much as he could with soft purrs and rocks, simultaneously working his shirt open and seeking some sort of contact from his mate. The omega let out a small gasp when the baby finally latched onto his nipple, and tried to settle back as much as he could during the feeding.

Gladio raised his head at the soft cries blinking in blurry eyed confusion. He had always been an extremely light sleeper and usually woke at the slightest noise or movement. He was pushing himself up and made a noise when his little mate slipped from their bed. Arranging the blankets around Prom’s legs to keep him warm he coiled an arm around slim smooth waist and pressed a soft kiss to freckled thigh. He rested his cheek against cooling skin and toyed with the open shirt of his mate softly stroking their baby’s little legs and arms.

❛ ❛ I would have gotten them, love. ❜ ❜ He breathed out starting up with a soft expression, eyes warm and loving. He trailed his hand up to stroke pale cheek and curl his fingers through blond hair. ❛ ❛ Come here...❜ ❜ he whispered pushing himself up dragging a blanket from the pile on their bed and pulling it over Prompto’s shoulders carefully, softly, he rested his head in Prom’s lap. Wrapping an arm around his waist so his mate could lean against him he pressed kisses to soft hair and watched their little one feed. He chuckled at the sleepy blinks and tiny fingers gripping the fabric of Prom’s shirt.

Gladiolus reached down fingers sliding through the soft fur of his huge companion in attempt to soothe the large Pokémon. He hummed softly, Chretien was extremely protective, it made sense with the constant battles the pair went through. Gladiolus did wish his partner would calm to people Gladio did trust. But no, they had to pass the “Chretien Test” as Iris often told him. Which not many outside their little family had.

He chuckled at the two Pokémon playing and twisting in undisturbed excitement. Titania always got insanely excited when she felt noticed they were near the shop. Sometimes she even bounded over without regards it if they were actually going there. But, if she was happy Gladio certainly didn’t mind the detour.

He winced in apology as the box tumbled to the ground. The moment the loud slam hit the ground Titania was skidding away and pressing, tangling herself around his leg, ribbons wrapping around his wrist. Her eyes wide with fear and Gladio mutters soft soothing words stroking the ribbons and pressing little kisses in hopes to soothe. Once she saw she was not in trouble she cautiously stepped out to share the offered snack but kept a ribbon around his wrist.

❛ ❛ It’s fine, ❜ ❜ Gladio quickly breathed heart pounding in anxiety as Prompto made his way over. He relaxed immediately at the agreement and sighed in relief. He offered a warm grin and instantly brightened nerves melting away. ❛ ❛ Thursday sounds fine, I’m usually off those days as well, I tend to work the graveyard shift so I’m free most of the day and afternoon regardless. If that works for you? ❜ ❜

Gladio tucked Noctis into his chest and pressed his face into his hair with the upmost care. Worried glances at the illusion started to fade from Noctis, he breathed a sigh of relief when nothing happened, as in being caught by hunters or anyone else. He leaned back against the rock as he traced his fingers along the horns on the male’s head and slowly curled his fingers through Noctis’ hair and pressed his lips on the top of his head.

He lifted his head as Noctis looked around and scanned the area with ever watchful eyes but found nothing worrying gained his attention. He hummed in agreement and snuggled him lovely.

❛ ❛ Yeah, good. It’s nice not to concentrate on illusions. ❜ ❜ He ran his claws through his hair only messing it up further, not that he cared or minded. His own tail flicked and thumped softly against the wall, brushing the stones softly. His horns softly scrapped the rocks if he moved a little too much to the side.

❛ ❛ It is, I think it’s just worrying if we might lose our ability to be ourselves....I’m afraid we are going to become monsters...And what if we do lose the ability to hold the form of a human completely? I don’t think the others will care, they’ll be worried and maybe a little mad, but I think they will want to help. On the other hand, strangers....what if they think we are a threat...? ❜ ❜

He had been told that he had been in a deep hole, he had been so close to death they didn’t even know if he was going to survive the surgery. It was wrapped and coiled around his heart and lungs working it’s way through his body, coiling around even more organs. He had been told there had been a lot of blood, placed in a medical coma, and....then the surgery was preformed, recovery time was long, he still bore those scars. He always would.

❛ ❛ That’s quite some time, Noctis.... It’s only going to get worse... ❜ ❜ He muttered worriedly as he reached out once more fingers wrapping around the paler hand and tugging him carefully to his feet. ❛ ❛ It’s not surprising, the shower will help I’m sure. ❜ ❜ He guiding Noctis’ arm around his shoulders. ❛ ❛ Lean on me, I’ll support you. Do you want me to stay in the bathroom in case you faint? The curtain will be between us. ❜ ❜

He leaned his head down as Noctis turned his head away and chuckled softly assuming the Prince was just embarrassed that he needed help. Carefully he led Noctis to the bathroom and lowered him to the closed toilet seat to sit.
