A duo of sketches of Sig with all five A Girls, with all of them in my favorite outfits for them~ This was an idea I thought of during Fever 2's anniversary last year. Something of him and the series leading girls, to symbolize what a treasured part of the cast he is.

I still think of these a lot.
Not claiming canon, but I do find that interpretation very satisfying, especially with Puzzle Pop with it's ArleSigAmi finale being followed up by Fia.
In general it gives me a lot of fuel since I really dearly want more exploration of the existing cast and their dynamics, in high stress situations, so Arle doing what she can, so Amitie has a opportunity to give Sig the strength to fight off the demon and free himself, would be for me even if I didn't have such an adoration for the idea of the three together.
Between the implied connection between Arle and Amitie and Fia having a surprising amount of things about her that echo Sig, my crackpot of a Arle, Sig and Amitie endgame is feeling less crack to me now.
Besides Pupuru being the missing link. That's just for fun.
Playing the new Madou Monogatari starring Fia was a lot of fun and it gave me some fuel, because Fia:
Has a heavy blue theming like Arle and Sig.
Is called ''Blue Demon'' once in a letter she gets by angry Puyo.
Is drowsy when bored enough.
Is described as ''At her own pace'', like Sig.
Struggles with certain names, like how Sig struggles with Raffina's name.
She has enough in common with Sig I have some grounds to call her his granddaughter, making him Arle's husband and I approve.

I don't really talk about them anymore and plenty discouraging things have come up over time, but despite this I'll always carry a torch for them.
I’m unreasonably happy to see Arle and Sig specifically be used for the new Puyo gummies release.
Arle and Sig: Puyo’s true blue duo. I dunno what it is and it could be bias, because I’m the SigArle guy, but the two even look great together.
Arle and Sig are the only ones who have been featured every time for this themed merch art so far and I just love seeing how they go together, every time.
I love SigArle. Also, the sky is blue.
Seriously though, one of my favorite aspects of it has always been the surprising amount of things they have in common, in a way that makes them really having a special bond a natural idea.
They both have ‘bad’ red counterparts in Strange klug and Doppelganger Arle, both of which can also be seen in a sympathetic light (I certainly do for both).
At least one piece of Compile era art heavily suggests that Arle enjoys bug catching.
While never shown in the games, Chronicle confirms that Arle doesn’t mind Sig’s love for bugs, enough to happily visit a bug haven, to cheer Sig up when he’s down.
They are both stuck in love triangles they want nothing to do with. Satan/Oniko are in love with them, much to the annoyance of Rulue/Onion Pixy.
Both are associated with the color blue.
While Shin Madou is of dubious canon, it does establish that Arle wears blue in honor of her disappeared father, which may explain her fondness for the color. It helps that unlike her mother and grandma, he is a no-show in the games too.
I really think that on any level, the two have great basis for a wonderful dynamic, if SEGA, yah know, let them interact on a meaninful level again.
If Madou ever changes rights to SEGA and the Sorcery Saga cast get adopted into the greater Puyo/Madou series…
I’d like it and obligatory crossover OT4 of course, because I’m a sap that likes romance a bit too much.
That and Lilica already strikes me as id she has an eye on Pupuru, Arle/Pupuru comes pretty naturally and ArleSig is ArleSig, of course I’ll enjoy anything with it.
There is this project I’m working on with @huskynator and am very happy with, it’s an ongoing AU inspired by Persona and Mega Man Star Force.
It’s “An Ordinary Puyo Puyo High School AU”, but how ordinary is it really? That’s to be seen…

I remember when I first got more competent editing software and made this. I was so happy with it that I made it my ava literally everwhere.
Despite everything ArleSig is still my comfort ship, I have loved it for far too long to give up on it.
It’s spooky month now and the ArleSigAmi OT3 are dressed for the occasion.
What I really like about Arle and Sig together in any capacity is that they really do contrast, yet compliment each other in many ways.
Arle is energetic and adventerous. She is nice too, however she does have a snarky and confrontational streak towards people that annoy her. Sometimes to a fault, as seen in a fair bit of Compile era stuff, where Arle would sometimes bring confrontations onto herself.
Sig is no less nice, if very stoic. Very chill, as a result he doesn’t really jump into situations the way Arle does and doesn’t seek adventures, but he does have little issue going along when something involves a friend.
As already seen in 15th, Arle can be motivating force to get Sig into taking action, while Sig could reel Arle in when her snappyness could potential get her into trouble and help her chill out when she needs it.
The two also have some notable things in common to provide interesting stories, like how similar in ways the Arle/Rulue/Satan and Sig/Onion Pixie/Oniko love triangles are and how they both have antagoistic red counterparts.
Amitie has plenty in common with both as well, which is why the ArleSigAmi OT3 works so well.
I go on about this a lot, but everything regarding Arle and Sig in 15th really makes for the best showcase of how great of a friend Sig is.
He is very empathetic towards how Arle feels, is supportive in trying to help her and even fights Rulue on her behalf.
It’s the most Sig has ever been allowed to act outside of his basic ‘’stoic bug boy’’ role, when it comes to someone else and I think that’s incredibly neat and something we could stand to see more of.
I said it before, but the best part about the unique merch art for me is getting to see this themed art for the whole ArleSigAmi OT3.
Plus bonus Kitty SigArle, there’s no Kitty Amitie.
I like how this artwork and the net she’s carrying imply that Arle may enjoy bug catching.
Can her and Sig go bug catching together now?
