tenya isnt one to sit still. he would much rather be in the gym or further enriching himself to live up to the name ingenium. but on nights like these, he doesnt mind sitting still for you.
on nights like these, when youre tucked away sweetly under his arm, and he can feel your slow, steady breaths fan across his bare chest, his restlessness is quelled. he isnt sure whats playing on the tv in the dimly lit living room of your home, as hes far more invested in memorizing the shape of your bodies that lie at ease on the plush couch. his hand strokes gently through your hair, and he notes the faint scent of your shampoo. his gaze flickers down to the bridge of your nose, admiring the way it slopes, before flitting to watch in awe as your eyelashes beat softly against your cheek with every blink you take.
your pretty gaze flutters up to meet with him, and his breath catches in his throat.
beautiful, he thinks. stunning.
your eyelashes bat once more.
its only then that tenya realizes youre saying something, and a flush creeps along his cheeks out of shame.
“tenya, are you even listening?”
he stammers an apology, rapidly going on about how dishonorable it is of him to lose focus on your shared show, and something about how he must focus on bettering himself for you.
you cant help the small smile tugging at the corners of your lips, and you quiet his incessant apologies with a kiss. the faint smell of lubricant and fuel stings at your nostrils, but is easily forgotten when a deft hand caresses the back of your neck, pulling you in deeper.
