Update on my fic!

Hey!! I took a couple of hours to do a sweep on my fic and fixed spelling errors, grammar mistakes, typos, sentences that didn't make sense, and repeated sentences.

It should be more readable now lol There are probably some other minor stuff I've missed, but the way it is now, it's not too bad!

As of right now, I have two mini chapters ahead. They're on their first draft. I also have chapter arts for those mini chapters, one of them has two because I, once again, just really wanted to illustrate more than one scene lol.

Hopefully, it doesn't take me too long to update. See you guys then <3 Blood Thicker Than Water

Update on my fic!

I'm aware its been like 2 months since my last update. I promise I'm still working on it! My day job is package delivery and its December... Everyone is going crazy ordering online as you can imagine. I wake up extra early to make it out in time and sometimes it doesnt work out like today, I get home late. Got like 30 minutes to eat, shower, feed my pets, clean up after them, go sleep. So no real time to make any real progress on the fic. But I am absolutely, working on it. Just, extremely slowly.

Heads up everyone who's following me here for my fic! My next chapter is taking a while to be made, both life, my energy levels and sometimes even writer's block have been getting in my way! I did not mean to be taking this long! I'm still writing the next Sora's side chapter, I'm considering breaking that one into two parts as it is getting very very long. I haven't even touched the chapter arts. I've also been considering maybe not doing any chapter art for the in-between Riku chapter this time. Reguardless, to not leave you with nothing, here is the concept art for everyone's costume change. Queen Piece Sora, (the unwilling) King Piece Vanitas, Bishop piece Donald, Tower/Rock piece Goofy and the Combined King and Queen Trick Master! To make my posts easier to follow I'm going to start putting them under this new tag (blood thicker than water -KH fic)

Sora may have opened the door in KH1

This isn’t to say Riku didn’t do wrong in KH1. He did. But, as far as the door and Destiny Islands is concerned, I think we’ve been getting hints for 20 years that it was Sora and Riku just got blamed for it on top of what he DID do.

What you said about Sora potentially seeing Ansem Seeker of Darkness before his nap on the beach in KH1 got the gears in my head spinning. Because that would parallel what happens in DDD. The exam is hijacked before Sora falls asleep/DDD begins, just like Sora would be hijacked before KH1 begins. In both cases, we wouldn’t see it happen. We’d only see what happens after Sora’s put to sleep, possessed, etc. The start of DDD and KH1 share similar imagery, with Sora sinking into the ocean in his dreams, and in DDD we hear Ansem SoD repeat what he tells Sora in KH1. “This world has been connected.”
