hm, Iāve had this idea for like a couple of days. A horror au of TWST, but like make it my own. I donāt think Iāll make fanfics because Iām not good at that, but maybe headcanons/reactions could be good. As of now, I only have a little clue of how Heartslabyul and Octavinelle would function
Twst horror au concept
Heartslabyul students have their card suit manually carved out by the housewarden with a knife, then itās dyed with either red or black ink (depending on the shape). The shape is carved out beside the eye (either right or left) and then the skin that is inside the outline is removed. Beheading is a real thing (decapitation), if youāre frequently breaking rules or just being disobedient, you could be set up for death row.
Octavinelle students have tentacle suction cup marks around their neck and wrists to almost symbolize their contract with Azul (or any housewarden) and how theyāre bound to him until further notice. They all wear black veils that cover their faces, itās worn at all times unless youāre sleeping. If you act out of line azul might send jade and floyd after you, usually you wonāt make it out alive. If you do, youāre definitely staying in the ER for a while
Letās just talk about Ace and Deuce, soo Ace is a chronic liar, a lot more mellowed than his fellow older classmates (Iāll get to them another time), likes being deceitful, makes fun of everyone, almost has been beheaded by riddle on multiple occasions, you never know if heās telling the truth or not because he looks so oddly paranoid despite not being paranoid.
Deuce has to wear gloves because everyone he touches without them suddenly dies in a brutal manner (body exploding from the inside, suffocation, etc), generally polite, his eyes are just pits of void, sickly pale, sometimes you can hear his former delinquent self speaking even if his mouth isnāt moving, calm and steady voice but has a harder time keeping his delinquent nature at bay
Moving onto the octotrio, Jade and Floyd are conjoined at the hip, Jade can emit deadly spores like a mushroom from his hair (fitting for his hobby), Floyd can physically (with help from jade) tear his head off and despite his head not being on his body he can still talk, laugh, yell, whatever. Their jaws are similar to a normal eel, so they can open their mouths to a disturbingly degree and unhinge their jaw. Also if their blood is spilled and you accidentally digest it? youāre abt to be put in a casket š
(If you breathe in Jadeās spores youāre bound to get visual hallucinations of your deepest regrets or fears, but thatās only when he releases a milder version of it. If he emits more? You could potentially suffocate, via fungus growing in your lungs)
Azul wears a more refined version of the black veil, itās glittery resembling the ocean under moonlight, still very businesslike, polite and somehow gentle but when you donāt comply to his commands/contract errr youāll probably be split in half by jade and floyd, has crazy strength but never uses it, doesnāt show anger outwardly but you do feel the pressure drop in the room. His desk is always covered in dried blood stains
All of them are cruel in some way, but that could potentially change if they end up finding themselves interested in someone. Not a big change just very slight change in how they interact with person of interest š§
I dont think ayato would survive alone in a busted down apartment. Like, yeah he's kinda used to pretending that he's a human at school, but now he gotta do it all the time which means he gotta do basic human necessities š
Even if he's living with his s/o bro gotta bring in some bank too, which means... He's gonna be working at 7 eleven or something, then he'll be fired because he may or may not have started a fight with a customer
Plus the man lowkey gotta be out in the sun a lot, I'd like to think that vampires/founders get sunburned easily. Basically what i'm saying is, when he's back at the apartment from walking to the grocery store and back either his face, shoulders or back/neck are gonna be red like a tomato. And yes he is gonna loudly complain about it too
He also looks like he'd walk around with flip-flops
i wonder how the twst characters would react to reader who is almost never in class but you can always find them hiding in the bathroom or sitting near or in the counselors office (aka what i do every day)

Hyena-Beastwomen arenāt exactly the nicest when it comes to courting due to natural instinct, so having a boyfriend would definitely make him feel a little more at ease very early on in the relationship
I feel like he would definitely do small acts of service and then go up to his boyfriend while having a slight grin on his face and go āwell, whereās my reward?ā (The reward is endless kisses and praise) the reader might as-well become rook at this point š
Heāll probably try to cover up that heās flustered too, but we all know thatās a lie considering his nervous laughing and tail furiously wagging from happiness
I have this hunch that beastmen love to be physical, as in, side-hugs, holding hands, cuddling, kissing, soā¦ Ruggieās boyfriend lowkey gotta be prepared for constant hand-holding, side-hugging, and stuff like that! Ruggie is living his life nuzzling readerās neck, subconsciously making sure that his scent is all over you. Actually, a bystander might think heāll fly away from how much his tail wags around when heās around his adored boyfriend
And at lastā¦ Honestly, itās lowkey a 50/50 if he would care about one of his bfās friends seeing him be so openly affectionate or not, but it feeds into the natural instinct of people knowing your his.. bro will be slightly red in the face if readerās friends comments on it, but does he stop nuzzling into readerās frame? Nope š

Like in the video game, the more a bride gets confused the āconfusionā bar appears and either goes higher the more brideās confused or lower. Angry? Well that bar is going up faster than they expected, even if the bride can hide her emotions well they can 100% see that a certain bar is going up or down
How about they get a vague sentence about what the bride is thinking? The sentence would be stated right above the your head, like for example ā(name) thinks sheās having an existential crisisā or ā(name) is thinking about romance novelsā stuff like that
Also a ārememberā feature, if something happens sometimes a small ā(name) will remember thisā š They can see literally everything about the bride, thoughts, feelings, opinions, friendships and yeah. Luckily they donāt have this type of thing in the DL universe, since it would be very overpowered
A mind-reading ability would be funny especially if the girl they have their hands on is very un-filtered in her mind. Carla says something very cringy? Except to hear/read a very blunt statement coming from her inner/monologue, but also they could probably hear you repeating or messing up a sentence in your head.

Like, yeah maybe they go through an existential crisis after finding out that their whole existence was a lie, but they could work through that and get to know the reader platonically/romantically without going full blown āI GOTTA KILL EVERYONE THAT LOOKS AT THEM AHAHAHAHAHā š
It sort of clicks for everyone that āwow, so my whole life, personality and world isnāt real? Well, damnā WHAT IF the player gets somehow transferred to TWST and the guys are like āso this is one of the many people who play the game, coolā and yeah go about their life and such
Of course theyāre going to be hella curious about how the game works and stuff, so the player will expect a lot of questions
You could do an imagine of Vil or Deuce (or both) with a reader who would like to be a comedian but is not very funny, or who needs to improve his punchlines. The reader who is male if possible. Sorry if the grammar is bad, i used the translator and a dictionary for writing the suggestion.

Ok so, in my opinion, he would probably feel genuine sympathy, but maybeee slight embarrassment for reader. Like, especially if itās around a big group of people and they try to be Mr.Funny guyā¢ and the joke doesnāt land very well and itās dead silentā¦ Yeah, bro is gonna feel a little secondhand embarrassment, but he will reprimand anyone who tries to make fun of you š
This is where the sympathy comes into play, since he sees that the reader is trying their hardest to achieve their dreams and to be frank, he kinda sees himself in them. He makes mistakes, they make mistakes. He has a dream, they have a dream. He really wants to help out, but heās not sure if theyāre willing to accept his help (you have no choice, he wants to see reader succeed and achieve their dream job /hj)
Heās probably going to be a little gentle with it, but also beat a little around the bush while also trying to help reader with their jokes. Heās not entirely bad at making jokes, but some of them donāt make sense. At the same time, thatās what makes them laughable at. They donāt make sense, so people end up laughing about the fact that it makes no sense.
Probably makes a routine out of it and if this particular reader is good at studying then there will be often study sessions, one day studying for an exam and the next coming up with materials and studying them so that they can be automatically done

so, i've been thinking of posting on tumblr for a while and i've decided that i should do exactly that š¤
i will write about diabolik lovers and TWST, so feel free to send in some stuff (you can send your own headcanons/imagines, ask me questions or request something). by requests, i mean, asking me to translate a certain a DL character's game route (since i do that too, my youtube is shinstoothbrush) or just request some HC's/imagines of one character (feel free to give me tips too š)
though i AM very picky when it comes to which characters i want to write for. i'm not a big fan of the mukami's, weirdly enough they don't really strike me as "interesting" but that's just me. the characters i can write are the sakamakis but not kanato or reiji and i can write only for shin since i dont like carla all that much.
HOWEVER if i get enough requests about a character i'm not 100% vibing with, i'll probably go out of my way to go through their route and read facts about them so that i can write them better
when it comes to TWST requests, im also picky when it comes to which characters are being requested, but i'll try my best to write them in time š
