#0085: Dodrio

Dodrio is a bird Pokemon that resembles a mix between a kiwi and an ostrich. It has three heads and three necks. Each head has a black V-shaped crest and a long light brown beak. Its three necks are either black if male, or light brown as well if female. It has brown feathers on its head and the top of its body, with the bottom part having black feathers, and its tail consisting of three pale red feathers with lighter tips. Lastly, it has light brown legs with four white claws on each foot. Although I do like Doduo's design, Dodrio's is just okay for me. I preferred the cute aspect of Doduo's design over the "cool" aspect or Dodrio. I do like its palette, though, since it is similar to Doduo's, but also has a red tail that looks pretty nice next to the brown feathers.

Shiny Dodrio basically has the same changes as shiny Doduo. Its brown feathers turn lime green, and its light brown beaks, legs, and necks on females, all turn a light yellow color, although this yellow is a bit more saturated than shiny Doduo's yellow colors. Everything else remains the same. Same opinion as shiny Doduo; I like the lime green feathers and the yellow parts. These all look nice together. But the black feathers on its body aren't doing it for me in this shiny palette. It's still a great palette, but shiny Doduo's is slightly better.

#0084: Doduo

Doduo is a bird Pokemon that resembles a kiwi with a long neck, which makes it look like an ostrich. It has brown feathers on its body and two heads, black beady eyes, a light brown beak on each head, brown feet with four white claws, and two necks that are black on males and light brown on females. Doduo is a pretty basic, but cute, Pokemon for me. I have never thought about adding it to a team, but I like it. Its design and palette are pretty simple, yet never boring. It's just a brown kiwi-ostrich. A pretty original concept executed just right.

Shiny Doduo has lime-colored feathers instead of brown, and its beaks and legs change to a light yellow color. In females, its necks also go from light brown to this same light yellow. Everything else is unchanged, although there wasn't much to change. I think this shiny palette looks silly, in a good way. The lime-green color looks great on Doduo's design, and the light yellow parts complements the feathers quite nicely. Also, I feel like it being green could be a reference to the flesh of the kiwi fruit.

#0083: Galarian Farfetch'd

Galarian Farfetch'd has a similar look to Kantonian Farfetch'd. Its plumage is now a darker shade of brown, its leek is significantly bigger, and the black V-shaped marking on its forehead looks more like eyebrows now. Also, it has a four-feathered crest on its head instead of a three-feathered one. Its underbelly is still beige, and its beak and feet are still an orangish yellow color. Also, it has a tuft of feathers on its chest. Galarian Farfetch'd has a cooler design than its Kantonian counterpart, so I like it a little bit more. Its darker colors look pretty nice on its design, but its palette is still pretty uninteresting to me. The colors themselves are nice, but it's just a duck.

Shiny Galarian Farfetch'd isn't very interesting, either. Its plumage is now a lighter shade of brown, and its underbelly is more yellowish. Nothing else changes. It's an improvement from Kantonian Farfetch'd's shiny palette, but it's nothing exciting. The colors look alright, but they're not any better than the regular palette.

#0083: Farfetch'd

Farfetch'd is a bird Pokemon that looks like a light brown duck with a beige underbelly. It has a three-feathered crest on the top of its head, a V-shaped black marking on its forehead, an orangish yellow beak, and webbed feet of the same color. It also carries a leek around, which is white and various shades of green. I really never cared for Farfetch'd. It's pretty forgettable, in my opinion. Its design and palette are both pretty basic, as it looks like a normal duck. I do like how the green from its leek stands out next to the brown colors, though, and the orangish yellow beak and feet look nice.

Shiny Farfetch'd is now a peach colored duck. Its beak and feet are now slightly more orangish, and the greens frok its leek turn slightly more yellowish. I do not like this shiny palette. It doesn't fit Farfetch'd at all. It's not horrible, as the colors look sort of alright together, but any color other than peach could've worked better.

#0082: Magneton

Magneton is quite literally three Magnemite joined together. Three spherical, bluish grey bodies, six grey magnets with red and white tips, three large eyes. Though, it has seven screws instead of nine, so there is a small change that makes it unique from three single Magnemite. Again, simple and charming design. The grey colors make it look like a machine rather than an organic being. Great palette.

Shiny Magneton almost has the same palette as shiny Magnemite. Its bodies still change from a bluish grey to a dull golden color, and the tips of its magnets still become fully black, but the rest of its magnets also change a bit, as they become a darker shade of grey. I also like this shiny palette, for the same reasons that I like shiny Magnemite's palette. Although I do like the darker magnets rather than the light grey ones on shiny Magnemite. Still very nice.

#0081: Magnemite

Magnemite is a robotic Pokemon that has a spherical, bluish grey body with three grey screws and two magnets attached to it. These magnets also have red and blue tips to indicate the positive and negative poles. It also has a large eyes with a small pupil. Magnemite has a very simple yet charming design. It is very hard to dislike Magnemite's design, in my opinion. Its palette is also very simple, with grey colors representing its Steel type and the fact that it is technological, and the red and blue colors being the common colors used for the poles in magnets. Honestly, it is a pretty great palette.

Shiny Magnemite's body is now a dull golden color, and the tips of its magnets change from red and blue to fully black. Although there aren't many changes, I really like this shiny palette. Changing its body to a golden color just feels right for a robotic Pokemon, and this looks quite nice with the black tips on the magnets. Very nice overall.

#0080: Mega Slowbro

Mega Slowbro is simply a regular Slowbro that has been mostly engulfed by the Shellder, with only its head, arms, and tail poking out. Its body is still a bright pink, and it still has a beige muzzle and white claws, but the tip of its tail is now beige as well, although we don't ever see Slowbro's tail tip, as it the Shellder always covers it. This Shellder is still grey with darker spots, and has multiple white teeth. This design is pretty funny, especially since Slowbro's expression is finally something other than a blank one, and instead it has an 'Uh oh' expression. Its palette is essentially the same as Slowbro, so I still like it.

Shiny Mega Slowbro has the same palette changes that shiny Slowbro has. Its body is now a light purplish blue color, and the Shellder is now a dark yellow, still looking almost golden. Once again, this purplish blue looks quite nice next to the dark yellow, and they both complement the Water anr Psychic types of Slowbro. Still a great shiny palette.

#0080: Galarian Slowbro

Galarian Slowbro looks very similar to Kantonian Slowbro. Its body is still shaped the same, but now it has a Shellder on its arm instead of its tail. This Shellder is still grey but seems to be slightly smaller and rounder, and has a purple tip with a hole rather than a solid, grey tip. Galarian Slowbro is mostly a bright pink and still has a beige, striped underbelly, but its muzzle is now a light purple. Also, the top of its head and ears, the tip of its tail, and its hands are purple. Same as before, I love the design, but I especially like how this design has a Megaman blaster-like weapon. The purple parts look pretty nice next to the pink colors, and they help Galarian Slowbro look more like a Poison type.

Shiny Galarian Slowbro is now mostly a very light orange color. Its purple parts are also lighter than before, and the Shellder is dark yellow, just like how it looks in Shiny Kantonian Slowbro's palette. While the light orange looks good next to the dark yellow Shellder, the purple contrasts a bit too much with it for my liking. The purple parts don't really look like they're part of Slowbro's body, and instead look like if Slowbro was wearing a cap and gloves. It's not an awful shiny, but it's definitely not my favorite.

#0080: Slowbro

Slowbro looks like a Slowpoke standing up. Same pink body, same white eyes with small pupils, same beige muzzle, same curled up ears. It now has three small white claws on its hands, and two large ones on its feet. Also, it has a beige, striped underbelly. Attached to its tail is a grey seashell-like Pokemon with spikes and darker spots, which is apparently a Shellder. Just like with Slowpoke, I really like the empty-headed vibe that Slowbro has. The Shellder on its tail complements its design quite well, too, as it makes it look stronger. The pink looks nice next the beige and grey colors, and still makes it look like a Psychic type.

Shiny Slowbro now has a light purplish blue body, and the Shellder on its tail is now a dark yellow, almost golden, color. Everything else is still the same as before. I think the blue body looks pretty nice next to the dark yellow Shellder. The fact that it is blue reminds me that it is a Water type, but somehow its purplish hue still gives off a Psychic type vibe, and the almost golden shell complements this. This is truly a great shiny palette.

#0079: Galarian Slowpoke

Galarian Slowpoke looks identical to Kantonian Slowpoke design-wise. It still has white eyes with small pupils, curled up ears, a beige muzzle, white claws on its legs, and a long tail. But now its body is a brighter pink, and the top of its head, the top of its ears, and the tip of its tail are now yellow. It also has three reddish lines on its forehead. I still like its dumb and innocent design, and its palette is nice. Although the yellow and pink colors clash a bit, it is still pleasing to see, and somehow it gives off a beach vibe.

Shiny Galarian Slowpoke is now mostly a bright yellow color, and its previously yellow parts are now significantly darker. Also, the stripes on its forehead are an even darker yellow. I honestly prefer the non-shiny palette, but this palette isn't too bad. It feels like a shiny, and the different yellow colors look alright together. I just don't like how the dark yellow looks. I find it a bit off-putting. Overall, it's a good shiny.

#0079: Slowpoke

Slowpoke is a pink Pokemon that resembles a salamander, a hippopotamus, or a combination of these. It has large eyes with small pupils, curly ears, a beige muzzle, and a white claw on its legs. It also has a long tail with a tip that is colored a lighter pink. I've always liked Slowpoke's design and palette, as they both pretty simple. Slowpoke looks pretty dumb and silly, which I enjoy. Its pink palette somehow makes it look innocent while also complementing its Psychic type.

Shiny Slowpoke is now a slightly more purplish and significantly less saturated color. Its muzzle also changes, becoming slightly more yellowish. This shiny isn't very special, in my opinion. The changes in the palette are very minimal and forgettable. It is not an ugly palette, but it's nothing to write home about.

#0078: Galarian Rapidash

Galarian Rapidash has a more mythical unicorn look than Kantonian Rapidasu. It still looks like a regular horse, but its fur is now completely white, and its flames are replaced by wavy, pastel purple and blue hair with curls at the ends. It also has tufts of pastel purple hair on its ankles that have a wispy look. It has blue and purple eyes, purple hooves, purple ear insides, and a purple horn with a white stripe spiraling it. Although it now looks more like an actual unicorn, I don't like this design at all. It looks less like a Pokemon and more like something you'd see on My Little Pony. It's just too much in my opinion. Its palette is the same as its pre-evolution, so I do like it, especially cause it is now a Fairy type.

Shiny Galarian Rapidash now has pastel yellow hair instead of pastel purple. Its pupils, the ear insides, hooves, and horn change from a dark purple to a dark blue. Once again, the pastel yellow clashes a bit with the pastel blue, so it's not as pleasing to the eye. The dark blue looks nice, though, so that redeems it a bit. The palette itself isn't my favorite, and Galarian Rapidash's design makes it look slightly worse.

#0078: Rapidash

Rapidash is a horse Pokemon with a horn on its head, or in other words, a unicorn Pokemon. It has cream-colored fur, red eyes, pointy ears with red insides, blue hooves, and orange flames as the hair on its mane, and ankles. Its design is pretty good, although it looks too much like a real horse, which breaks the immersion, in my opinion. Nonetheless, it is still pretty cool, as the fire makes it look majestic. Once again, the orange flames look great next to the cream-colored fur.

Shiny Rapidash is a bit disappointing. Its orange flames are now a pale, almost greyish, purple color. They look more like smoke rather than flames. Also, its red eyes and ear insides turn blue. The purplish flames don't look horrible, but compared to the nice blue flames Shiny Ponyta has, they leave much to be desired. A more vibrant purple, or even changing them to blue, might improve this shiny palette.

#0077: Galarian Ponyta

Galarian Ponyta looks like a smaller and cuter pony when compared to Kantonian Ponyta. Its fur is completely white, and the flames on its mane and tail are replaced by pastel purple and blue fluffy fur. It also has pastel purple tufts of hair on its ankles. It now has a small purple horn with a white stripe, purple and blue eyes, purple ear insides, and purple hooves. I really like Galarian Ponyta's cute design, as it does have a more pony-like aspect. Its palette also add to this cuteness, with the pastel colors making it look like a Fairy type, which is interesting cause it is not one... yet.

Shiny Galarian Ponyta now has pastel yellow fur instead of pastel purple. Its purple eyes, ear insides, horn, and hooves are now a dark blue, as well. In my opinion, the pastel yellow contrasts a bit too much with the pastel blue fur. It looks nice, but it doesn't look as good next to the blue fur as the purple does. It does feel like a shiny, though, but I wouldn't be super stoked to find one.

#0077: Ponyta

Ponyta is a pony Pokemon that has cream-colored fur, brown eyes, triangular ears with red insides, blue hooves, and orange fire as the hair on its mane, tail, elbows, and legs. Pretty simple design with a cool twist. Even if it just looks like a normal pony, aside from the fire, I still love this design. I think it's cute yet also quite cool. Not much can be said about its palette, other than the fire does look nice next to the cream-colored fur.

Shiny Ponyta is probably one of the best shinies in the franchise. The insides of its ears turn a dark blue, and its flames turn blue. Everything else remains unchanged. Even if the changes are minimal, the blue flames look amazing on Ponyta. Truly one of the best shinies.

#0076: Alolan Golem

Alolan Golem looks pretty similar to Kantonian Golem, as it still has a brownish grey rocky shell, dull brown limbs and head, and red eyes. But its arms are shorter, and instead of having multiple white claws on its limbs, it has a large claw and a smaller claw on each of its appendages. It also has black rocky formations on its face that resemble eyebrows, a moustache, ane a large beard. Additionally, it has two black pillars on its shell with golden spots and a smaller black rock between them. I really like Alolan Golem's design. It is kinda goofy, yet it also looks cool. The black formations on its body make it look magnetic, and the golden parts still make it look like an Electric type.

Shiny Alolan Golem now has a brownish golden shell, and its limbs and head become a light brown. The black formations and the golden rocks are unchanged. Again, it looks more like a Ground type, even thought this form is not one, but its shell does look golden, so it still resembles gold. Additionally, this golden color also complements its Electric type, so that's a bonus. This shiny palette is definitely way better than its regular palette, in my opinion.

#0076: Golem

Golem can be best described as a boulder with arms, legs, and a head sticking out, giving it a tortoise-like appearance. Its rocky shell is a brownish grey color, and its limbs and head are a dull brown. It also has red pupils and white claws and teeth. I personally like Golem's design over Graveler's, as it deviates from simply being a rock, but I still wouldn't consider adding Golem to my team. Its palette also improves, since it uses colors other than grey to make it look rocky.

Shiny Golem now has a yellowish brown shell, and its limbs and head turn a pale yellow. It doesn't look like a clump of gold anymore, but rather just looks more like a Ground type. It is fitting, but I don't think it is an improvement from Geodude's and Graveler's shiny palettes. Yet it is still pretty good and very noticeable.
