When its hot out you see men of all different shapes and sizes not wearing shirts, but god forbid a bigger woman wears a two piece bathing suit. Then its all, âOmg she shouldnât be wearing that." Ughhh fuck that noise.

Over the course of several years, two womenâs prisons in California signed at least 150 pregnant women up for permanent sterilization to be performed after they gave birth, without following the required state approval procedure. And now, some women who underwent the procedure say they felt coerced into having a tubal ligation while incarcerated, according to a report from the Center for Investigative Reporting.Â

Shoot every man you see. If a man is not a legitimate rapist, his body has a way to shut gunshot wounds down.

A 40-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped by two of her colleagues and their two associates. The accused offered her a drop took in a car, offered her a cold drink laced with sedatives and raped her, police said on Thursday. The woman was then thrown out of the moving car.

Robin Thickeâs âBlurred Linesâ song has a ârapey" feel to it as well as the music video is objectifies women. So it is nice to see the gender roles reversed in this cover of the song - we find the music video funny because men doing this is so out of the norm and weâre so used to music videos objectifying women.
Here is the thing. Our society teaches us that some people are inherently untrustworthy. That women are hysterical and overemotional and manipulative. We have these things for all marginalized identities. This is where the myth* of false accusations comes from. When there is a discussion on rape, abuse, predators and survivors and people come in and say âbut false accusationsâ, it is saying that the discussion over false accusations is more important and takes more precedent over the discussion of abuse- despite it being incredibly rare and despite abuse being reported left and right. Take into accounts that many reports of âfalse accusationâ are actually true events that are just not believed and then the derail gets even more insulting. Also, in my world- rape is a much more serious crime than slander. Look, I care about reality. I care that almost every person that bottoms in the scene that I know has been abused. I care that these people are suffering. I care that it is a very very small number of people doing a great deal of harm. I care that this is an real, current problem. No, I do not care about hypotheticals right now. No, I do not want to hear about how âwell yes, these are good things but someone could lie!â I care enough about those who are suffering now that I will take that risk. If this community is serious about consent and serious about supporting survivors, you all need to take that risk with me.

the phrase âI know you want it" is in fact most applicable to skeevy men who stare at girls in public like creepy weirdosÂ
Itâs great seeing flyers like this out there, but at the same time, itâs devastating that we live in a culture in which anything like this has to be said at all.
