We always talking about Sasuke & Sakura having eyesmex:

Now Sasuke genjutsu was not as strong as Itachi was back then but then Sasuke got the rinnegan and has probably trained his genjutsu to be stronger.

Itachi could perform Tsukuyomi which puts his target into a genjutsu for a few seconds in real time but the time experience is alter so the target feels days pass by.
