I mean like yes I’d noticed the butterfly shaped “classic” mask over his eyes, and how there was enough of a gap that meant the general face mask was placed over it, BUT I NEVER NOTICED HIS FACE MASK WASN’T BLOODY CONNECTED TO HIS NECK BECAUSE HIS NECK’S COVERED BY PART OF ANOTHER BLOODY LAYER OF MASK.

Okay but Consider This

After months and months of Chat striving to tell Ladybug how he actually feels, he’s kinda given up. He knows she’ll never love him, and he grows extremely lovesick. But then a realization snaps him from his sadness. Marinette, a girl from his school, has liked him for a long time, and part of him wanted to like her back. So he decides to date her. Marinette, head over heels by the fact Adrien likes her back, becomes really careless about keeping her superhero secret from him, and wants to expose who she really is right in front of him. So when the time comes for them to go on another date, Marinette transforms right before his eyes, and nervously watches his reaction. Adrien starts losing his shit because the girl he loved for so long was actually the girl who loved him for so long. So instead of trying to explain with words, Adrien transforms into Chat in front of Ladybug, and they both lose their shit together. The night ends with them sharing the kiss they both craved from each other for so long, filled with disbelief and joy.
