Whitebeard simply laughed "Gurarara, you know my son you need a sense of humor, especially in your old age." Lawko? If he recalled correctly, was that one rookie who became a shichibukai? "Lawko from what I've heard was the kind who always had an ulterior motive, I'd be careful my son." Edward spoke wearily as he scratched his chin.

  The Yonko lifted an eyebrow at Marco’s hesitance. It wasn’t like him… “There are no walls between us my son, I am your father after all." Whitebeard prompted Marco to talk about whatever he wanted to talk about.

"pops i….i want to introduce you to someone", marco finally said and pushed a little blond toddler girl gently in front of him. the girl had been hiding behind his back "pops thats…claire…shes my daughter…"

This was not in fact Edward's first grandchild, so he wasn't too surpised. "Gurarara, another member to the family I see!" the old man couldn't help himself. "So my son, did you hatch this one or..?" a smirk forming on the Yonko's face.

then he cleared his throat "pops…theres something you should know…something i have to tell you…you know….uhm", marco said a little hesitant

“It goes well, no worries on the horizon. And you Pops, how are you ?”

"I've never felt younger my son, gurarara." Whitebeard said while wiping Sake from his face. Though he couldn't help but feel uneasy at the current calmness of the world.

“You have a problem with my tastes?!” He shot a glare at the larger man. His blood stopped cold when he heard the man’s question.. no… more like… an order. 

“O..of course” He knew better than to provoke this yonko. what the hell does this geezer want with my island?! restocking his supplies?! hah! shuroro not likely… He was cautious of his actions as he observed the older man.

Before their conversation had even finished, some of Whitebeard's crew had already begun moving in. Marco stood next to his captain, simply making sure nothing was astray.

"Gurarara, dare I question your tastes?" Whitebeard spoke mockingly. He himself then began to stride along with the rest of his crew deeper into this 'vacation island' and to his surprise a harpy had appeared before him. "Well... Looks like Marco has a friend to play with GURARARA." the Yonko jokingly laughed as Marco simply smiled at Monet.

“Thank you.” She smiled at him, still nervous though. “I have a boyfriend.”

",,," There was a silence for a moment, which was then interrupted by a deafening laugh "GURARARA, well my dear I suppose you're at that age, but if this boyfriend messes around in any way, tell him I'll be becoming for his head, gurarara" the Yonko said this in a cheerful manner, which seemed rather odd considering he was technically threatening to kill someone.

“It would be Loken’s pleasure” he said as he came out of his bow and looked up to see who he was talking with. “Loken is good at cooking, cleaning, sewing, sailing and even pest removal if Lokens employer so needs it.” he said, the familiar weight of his iron tonfas shifting slightly under his jacket.

“Loken never complains about any task no mater how big, all within the contract parameters of course.” he said bowing again, feeling glad that he had used a difficult word in the right sense.

Ah, quite the character this one seemed to be. Whitebeard, now sitting on an elevated piece of concrete, leaned his chin on his hand while properly considering this 'butler'. "Listen here brat, I don't need a butler on my ship... How about you become my son instead?" the Yonko mused. The boy seemed honest, a likable one to say the least.

Whitebeard stood up once again to face Loken, and reached out his hand to him. "Well brat, the New World awaits.. ?"

An interesting expression appeared on the Yonko’s face, just what he expected after hearing such a weird thing like an alliance between a Shichibukai and a pirate, both rookies. The swordsman still had his doubts about Law’s real intentions, it was weird that Trafalgar wanted to do something like that, there must be a reason behind his actions.

“Tsk, don’t talk like that, we both know that it’s a weird thing, but I can’t do anything about it, I have to follow my captain’s orders and decisions, even if I don’t like them, I accepted him as my captain after all.” He shrugged, a grin playing on his lips. “Don’t ask about the reason, I’m still not sure of why I did that.” The story of how they met wasn’t that complicated, but the first mate was too lazy to tell it.

Ah... Dragon's son must have quite the charisma to make someone such as this swordsman to be so loyal, Whitebeard was certain Zoro was as stubborn as they came.

"Gurarara! Well you're right, captains orders are absolute..." Whitebeard paused as if he was considering something. "..A word of advice brat, though this alliance may seem to be in your benefit, I'd be wary of that Trafalgar brat. From what I remember he has ties with the flamingo brat." the Yonko didn't know why he was warning the green-haired swordsman, but it seemed he's grown fond of Zoro's straight-forward nature.

Robin’s expression remained the same while inwards she was quite surprised to be in the presence of the well known pirate. “Whitebeard.” she voiced. “To what do I owe the pleasure?”

"Hm?" Edward grumbled to himself, this was.. ? A member of the strawhats.. Ah yes, Whitebeard recalled now, she was the 'devil child' Nico Robin. "Fret not brat, for I'm not here to see you... I was simply wandering the seas, and it seems the seas had brought me here, to you." Whitebeard said in a half-questioning manner in which suggested he wasn't really sure what these seas were planning exactly.

Train stopped drinking his bottle of milk as an enormous shadow fell across the street. Blinking curiously, he slowly looked up at the source, staring up at the mountain of a man with an enormous white mustache, looking sharp enough to cut someone with. “Wow…big fella,” Train muttered to himself before grinning and standing up, walking towards the giant. “Hey! Down here, big guy!” he called.

Whitebeard peered down at the one calling for his attention, after processing it he was sure he had never met this person before. "What do you want, brat?" the Yonko asked sternly, wondering what kind of business he had with him.

“I am the great Whitebeard, and this my era, brat.” the Yonko roared as if this were a widely know fact. He stood a couple meters taller than the girl before him, which was the norm for Edward.

“And who might you be?” Whitebeard asked bluntly, surely not a challenger he thought to himself, she seemed about 50 years to soon to challenge the ruler of these seas.

The great Whitebeard? Why did his name sound familiar? Calling her a brat? He was rude. “It is rude to name call a child, Mister Great Whitebeard.” The thirteen years old studied him. Damn, he was really tall. She bowed her head in a respectful way “my name is Sapphire Amaranth.” She straightened her self “If I may say so my self, your name sounds highly familiar.”

Mister Great Whitebeard? ...That's one he hadn't heard before. ".. Well Sapphire brat, it should be, the Whitebeard pirates have ruled the seas for generations." the Yonko noted aloud, completely disregarding the comment of his supposed name calling. He doubted the girl before him was a mere 'child' anyway.

"Tell me child, where am I now? I don't think I've brought this place under my name... It's too unfamiliar, gurarara." Whitebeard asked.

At his reply to her greeting, her gaze turned concerned and she nodded. “Well, If its a doctor you’re looking for, you came to the right place. I’m doctor Amari, but please, call me Talia. Come, tell me whats bothering you.” She said.

Ah, perhaps this woman was the doctor he was searching for... "Well then Talia, I am often referred to as Whitebeard, an Emperor of the sea." the Yonko said with great pride. "Anyway, as I've already mentioned, my er, age is beginning to take it's toll. I have braved many battles and hardships but I suppose not even I can defeat time, gurarara." Whitebeard sounded unusually defeated in regards to the topic. He awaited her reply, hoping she had some sort of solution to a rather common problem. the Yonko assumed it was a common problem anyway.

"Hmm?" Whitebeard grunted as he took notice of the rather small individual before him. "And who might you be, brat?" the Yonko raised an eyebrow at him in a questioning manner. Whitebeard had been meetings a lot of new people nowadays, it seems a new era is dawning indeed.
