"This hurts me just as much as it hurts you" is abuser rhetoric and psych wards do it all the time. I came across many psych ward nurses that claim that watching patients shower is just as bad for them as it is for the patient. That is incredibly insensitive and frankly a disgusting statement.

The staff isnt naked. The staff isnt forced to be there. The staff isnt the one without power, autonomy or clothes. It is not the same. And if legal or not: when the staff is tight it can happen that a male one watches naked girls (not women, girls). Saying "it is for the patients best" without having /any/ prove is victim blaming and I will die on this hill. I cant comprehend this lack of empathy from those nurses

CHILD SOLDIERS: Another Humanitarian Crisis in the Making in Iran

There are reports that that IRGC is trying to recruit children as young as 12 years old into its ranks for suppression and surveillance. Keep in mind that while they're not being overt in the marketing of this opportunity, they're going to arm and militarize these children. They want to get kids involved in their operations and their fight not just to bolster their numbers but also to create human shields. And if these kids somehow end up killed because they're caught up in the crossfire, they'll be passed off as martyrs and victims.

If anyone doesn't believe that this is their MO, I urge you to look into their use of child soldiers during the Iran-Iraq War. They have a history of this behavior.

The safety of children means nothing to them. These children are tools for propaganda, whether it's through making it seem like they have more support and having more tools or through having more sacrificial pawns whose deaths can be used to spread a distorted message.

This is absolute evil.

I want to speak out about the unjust treatment of women in my country, Kazakhstan, and bring this news to public attention so that everyone knows the shameful stance taken by the judicial authority in Astana.

For the first time in Kazakhstan’s judicial history, Judge Seifulla Tasymbetov officially classified the brutal gang rape of a 14 year old girl as consensual sex. This decision effectively legitimizes group violence against a child in the capital city.

Judge Tasymbetov did not simply remain passive; he fully adopted the arguments put forward by Prosecutor Olzhas Khairullayev. During the proceedings, the prosecutor cynically claimed that the defendants choked the teenager because she enjoyed it, and that threats to break her jaw were a natural reaction. The judge accepted this reasoning without question. He ignored fifty direct pieces of evidence of violence, threats, physical injuries, and the victim’s helpless state, and proceeded to approve the lenient Article 122 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This ruling endangers every child in Kazakhstan. The only effective way to respond is to spread this news widely so that it becomes a matter of public shame. It appears that public outcry is the only thing the Kazakh judiciary truly fears.

For those who don’t know the history: This man had nearly 500 victims of his sexual crimes during his career as a British radio presenter, from vulnerable children as young as five to the elderly. Real person fiction is never okay, but being all kawaii and cutesy self-shipping yourself with a REAL convicted rapist and pedophile definitely isn’t… The fictional ones are already bad enough. This is a whole new level of disturbing for this space… I feel sick.
