Happiness Will Come To You.

When You Least Expect It. Probably Late March
reblog for happiness to come for you in late march!
I reblogged this last year and I hung out with blink-182 backstage on March 30. Reblogging again because it worked the first time.
honestly, last year one of the best days of my life happened in late March
Hey, I’ll give it a shot!
early march! @nightshadeandroses amirite?
Yes, once we get over this retrograde, it should be smooth sailing 😎
Spring being something beautiful 🌸
Ryan is afraid of bears because when Shane and him were very young, Shane dressed up as a bear to explore Ryan's house, not yet knowing he was entering the house of his future friend. This event scarred Ryan for life, and later on when Shane realized what his younger self had done.... he kept it to himself, constantly chuckling to himself over Ryan’s irrational fear of bears... a fear that Shane himself had created.
Theory: Anytime Shane lies, his head gets slightly bigger. but anytime he threatens a demon, it goes back to normal size.
Hence why his head is always out of proportion with his body
And Ryan notices this, but cannot prove it cause no one will let him measure Shane's forehead.
I was exploring a haunted sewer system with the Buzzfeed Unsolved guys. At one point Shane jumped out from behind a corner to scare me and Ryan, and on reflex I punched him in the throat. I was not invited to go ghost hunting with them again.
going to put things on ao3 when i have time
reposting things so it is its own page
Shane, The Demonic Dryad: Chapter 1: The Trial, Part 1
The room is beautiful. The walls are trees, the roof is stars, the ground is the softest moss. In the end of the hall sits three figures on thrones, all three have an air of authority and power that seems to surpass any normal being. If you were standing in front of them, to your right would be Lux, the elder of light, life, and creation. She sits on a throne of pure crystal, and she is the essence of beauty, with dark skin and long , curly, silvery hair that is put up in a bun. She is dressed in a pure white gown that seemed to be made of clouds. To your left would be Tenebris, elder of darkness, death, and destruction. He sits on a throne of obsidian, and he is gorgeous like Lux, but in a more… sinister way, with pale skin and straight black hair that falls to his shoulders. He is dressed in a silky black suit, that seemed to devour anything that got too close. And in front of you sits Statera Ordo, Elder of Balance and Order, on a throne of silver, looking like a statue of pure steal, with no defining features excluding eyes that seemed to be made of pure light.
Surrounding the High council, almost hidden behind a magic veil, is thousands of beings, Satrys, Nymths, spirits, gods, goddess, centaurs, and many more, all of which you can find in mythology. All chattering in a hundred languages, some in the speech of mortals, others in the tongues that man can never hope to learn. Never have so many creatures of the fae gathered in one place in thousands of years, and they had all came together in this sacred place for one reason. They waiting to see the trial.
Statera Ordo rose, and all fell silent. In a voice that seemed to resonate from Ordo, the elder spoke “”we have gathered here today,” Ordo said in a gentle tone, “ to address a problem that has shaken the border between our world and the mortal one to its roots, beyond any disaster that we have ever dealt with before, all because one simple dryad has broken all rules and given up all oaths to preserve our sacred laws.” Ordo paused for a moment, and then said at a volume none could ignore “Azrael, bring in the accused.”
Azrael, a thing that stood taller than any of the elders, wearing a long black cloak, drags in a humanoid, tall creature with tree-like devil horns and moss in its hair. The poor thing is bound in chains that look heavier than all things of earth and the thing has obviously been beaten and starved for days. The Fae citizens began to talk amongst themselves, a quiet murmur that became a roar of voices.
“This can’t be the one who has been causing all of this trouble.” ”look at that, a dryad with horns.” ”thats a dryad? pretty tall for a dryad.” ”look, they have starved the poor thing!” ”Starved it, good! Did you hear what he did?””What did he do?””that half demon has killed more than half of the guardians!” ”how?” “it does not matter now, but he did it to protect the Mortal Seal!”
“Silence.” Tenebris speaks in a barely audible whisper that carried such menace that the whole room went silent.
Tenebris’s eyes lazily gaze upon the prisoner, like a cat studying a mouse.”place him before the council.” Tenebris commanded in a tone that betrayed no emotion, like the calm before the storm.
Azrael throws the dryad in front of the council, who hits the ground hard, but remains silent. The dryad gets up on his knees, eyes gazing upon the floor, calm as if nothing had happened.
“you caused great trouble for us.” Lux said in a loud threatening tone. “disobeying all orders, preventing others from fixing your mistakes, even giving up your immortality to defy us.”
The Prisoner remains silent.
Tenebris rises from his throne, staring at the dryad without any change in his face. “After all you have done, after all of the pain and suffering you have made for your people. You are child of Fae and Demon, you are supposed to be a example of power and peace, and you have done everything to strain our treaty and disappoint both sides” Tenebris bent low onto his knee and looked the accused, attempting to catch his eye, but the dryad continued to stare at the ground. Tenebris sighed, for moment looking upset, but it was quickly replaced with a steely rage. “Now, Gift From God, you will be punished for your sins. ” Tenebris sat back down as a sickle appeared in Azrael’s hands, which the figure began to raise to bring down on the head of the dryad.
“WAIT!” Lux cried, moving in a flash from her throne, thrusting her arm in front of the blade before it could complete its task. “first i must know.” she declares, not even trying to hide her rage. ”why did you defy us? Why did you betray your people?” the prisoner says nothing, still looking at the ground. Lux moves faster than anyone could see, grabbing the dryad by his horns, bringing his eyes to hers.
“ Shane Madej,” she began, her voice slowly building to a scream. “ why have you betrayed us, why have you broken your promise to us. Why didn’t you kill Ryan Bergara, why did you kill MY WARRIORS in order to protect him! Shane Madej, Gift From God, WHY HAVE YOU TURNED AGAINST YOUR PEOPLE!”
Lux stares into his eyes, seething, and all is quiet for a moment. Then suddenly, Shane began to chuckle, a devilish smirk curls up his cheek, and a mischievous look appeared in his eyes. “Well,” Shane said still looking in Lux’s eyes. “I guess i better start from the beginning then shouldn’t I? Sit down and relax Lux, this is a long story.” Shane looks the council, a smile fully forming across his lips. ”alright elders, it’s time for ya boi to explain himself.”

Shane, The Demonic Dryad: Chapter 2: Origin story part 1
My name is Gift From God, and I am the living treaty. You all know me as Shane Madej. Everything you know about me, all of the story’s you have heard on that fun channel of I work on, about my life and where i grew up, is all true. I just left out all the important stuff, the things that are beyond your understanding. Honestly, I thought i would never tell you all these things. But according to the laws of the trail, my must speak honestly and freely about my life, otherwise… your boi might not be able to make his appearance in season 6.
So, for the first time ever, you people will know the truth. Why I say I don’t believe in ghosts, why Ryan never finds any proof, and what really happened with my parrot, which I DID NOT eat by the way. Anyways, here we go
About 35 years ago, 1983 in the human calendar, something happened that sent the three worlds of the Fae, Demons and mortals into a turmoil. A moment that sent a chain events into motion, changing the way these worlds interact, something that has not changed in many millennia. The two people who began this event, were my parents. Mainly my mother, Iola grimfall, the demon warrior of the high guard. She was a demon of average human height, with black flowing hair and light brown eyes. She had horns like a faun of a dark brown color, and she had a well defined figure of an olympic level athlete. She was a fierce fighter and would hold her ground with most demons, using her prefered and only weapons, two small hand battle axes that she would use in a fiery fury upon her foes, enjoying the fight for what it was worth, but unlike the other demons, she was not happy with the life she had. While over demons were content with their life down below in what you humans call hell, my mother was… unhappy with the life she had been forced to live
While other demons thought of war and torment, looking at the human and Fae worlds with disgust and loathing, hating them for what they had, plotting to destroy all these worlds held dear, my mother was was on a different chain of thought.
Anytime she thought of the other worlds, mainly the one of Mortals, she felt only sorrow and longing, wishing to be apart of the human world, a place of change and growth, where things always seemed to be happening, unlike the world of demons, that seemed to be trapped in a infinite state of rotting and decay, the human world seemed to develop and evolve, a world where anyone would make a change if they tried hard enough. Iola saw the world of mortals wasn’t perfect, full of evils and suffering not unlike the ones of her world, but unlike her world, it was full of beauty and potential. She was bored of the literal hellhole she was trapped in, she wanted to go to the mortal world, where anything would happen. A world of excitement.
And my mother, Iola Grimfall, wanted to be apart of it.
She had began to study the old books, searching for a way to the mortal world, and according to every source she would find, she had to enter the Fae world first.
“According the current treaty, a demon requires the permission of a Fae of the low council to enter the mortal world without starting war,” a elder demon had told her, “and likewise a Fae requires the permission of a demon of the low council to enter the human world. This law was made so that both councils will always know how many citizens of both worlds are in the mortal realm at all times.”
“When was the last time a demon was let into the mortal world?” Iola would ask in a low tone, her hand on the handle of one of her axes, showing she meant business and wanted the truth.
The old demon smiled and looked into the eyes of Iola “well, last time i checked, no new demons or fae have safely entered the mortal world since 200 BC, but you are welcome to try… that is if you don't mind dying afterwards! HAHAHA!” the old demon laughed till the ground shook, and in rage Iola, in one swift motion, drew her axe with a hand of pure flame, and beheaded the fool with one quick swoop.
(And by hand of flame, i mean her whole arm became aflame in demon fire. I did say she fought with a fiery rage didn’t I?)
Iola stared at the corpse of the fallen demon, who was quickly turning to ash, and as despair began to overtake her, a voice suddenly spoke behind her.
“If you want to enter the mortal world, there is one Council member if the Fae who might grant you permission” Iola turned around quickly, axe put against the speakers throat, finding a old hag short hag of dark skin and white thin hair who looked into her eyes with no fear. “Now darling, that is no way yo treat your elders.” the old demoness let out a raspy chuckle. “Don’t you want to leave this world and enter the world of the humans?”
The hag wore a faded gray cloak and was a head shorter then Iola, but she seemed to radiate this strange aura… Iola couldn't put her finger on it, but the hag was definitely more than what she seemed to be.
Iola lowered her axe, looking at the elder demon, sudden hope filling her black heart, “yes,” Iola said in a whisper, “more than anything thats what i want.”
The Hag looked at Iola with a strange gleam in her eyes. “Then go to the Fae world and seek out the dryad by the name of Brier, he shares your love of the human world and might just sympathize you and give you the permission you seek”
“Might?” Iola asked tentatively.
“There is a chance he will say no.” the hag chuckled again in that raspy voice, a strange gleam in her eyes “but there is a chance he might say yes, and no matter how small that chance is, is the only one you have.” the hag began to walk off.
“Wait, who are you?” Iola called out, “why are you trying to help me?”
The Hag turned around and looked at Iola with that strange stare of hers. “My name,” the hag said in a steady voice, “is Lumen, and I am helping you because… well, no else seems to be helping you are they” Lumen let out a loud cackle and suddenly disappeared, leaving in a flash of white light.
Iola stared at the place the hag Lumen had once stood. She didn’t know what was happening, but she knew one thing.
She finally had a way to get to the human world, and as she began the journey to the gate that connected the demons realm to the one of the Fae in search of the Dryad Brier, she didn’t notice as a small imp took flight, an imp who had saw the whole scene, and the imp was grinning from ear to ear, traveling to the throne of his master.
“Wait till the boss hears this” the imp let out a insane giggle, “finally something interesting is happening around here!”
(before we continue the story further, i have one thing to say. I, Shane Madej, hate Imps.)
