yall are probably sick to death of seeing me post like this but i don’t know where else to turn. here’s my situation: i’m mentally ill and physically disabled, so i cannot hold a job. about the physical illness, i have arthritis and chronic pain. right now i am out of pain pills and i cannot afford to renewed the prescription, as it isn’t covered by my insurance. i absolutely have to have my meds, i’m bedridden without them and of course the pain is terrible. so please, if you can, commission me or check out my etsy or even just donate. i really need the help. also please please please signal boost, i need all the exposure i can get.

just so you guys know justin trudeau the happy canadian cool guy prime minister™ hasn’t honoured any of his platform promises since getting into office and the first thing he actually did as PM was sign a 15bn dollar weapons sale to Saudi Arabia–the largest human rights violator in the world atm–even though he promised, if he was elected into office, that he would get rid of the deal altogether lol. canada is complicit in crimes against humanity and is still really really really racist don’t be fooled by JT’s six pack he’s a piece of human trash too

as you might be aware, both Buscat and Dorian have high vet bills at the moment and we might not be able to pay for the treatment that they need. If you can spare any money to go towards their medical bills please donate to my paypal

Bus has an ongoing problem which causes his urinary tract to become blocked whenever he is stressed. This is a problem for a lot of male cats but bus has an unusually narrow urethra which means the slightest inflamation to it cause it to swell completely shut. Urinary blockages have already hospitalised him twice, for four days each, and if we don’t catch it within 24 hours his kidneys will shut down and he will die, because he can’t move the blockage on his own. This morning when we noticed him having trouble peeing again we took him down to the vets. (This is the 5th time we have had to take him for the same problem so we switched vets in the hopes that we would be able to work out a prevention plan isntead of ‘just wait till it happens again and hope he doesnt die’)

Luckily this time we caught it before it became a full obstruction and we are trying to manage it with various anti inflamatory medication and a vaporeon costume (cone of shame cone of shame). However since this is a recurring problem the vets are recommending one of two long term options: daily medication to manage his anxiety (which may not completely solve the problem bc of his urethra) or an operation to widen his urethra (which is p serious and costs around $1200-$1500 AU$) We are planning on trying the medication first to avoid invasive and painful surgery.

Dorian Grey of house Purrvus: the most handsome asshole you’ll ever meet

Dorian is also sick, but we don’t actually know whats wrong with him. He was totally fine yesterday (although upset that Bus was getting so much attention) and tonight when I went to feed them I noticed he wasn’t there. Dorian never misses a meal. Ever. So i went looking for him and found him in his cat carrier. He was awake but not responding to me and wouldn’t walk when i picked him up and moved him. he would just lie there, not purring with his eyes half closed even when I was holding him. We decided to take him to the vets and in the carrier he began making croaking sounds like he was in pain. We took him to a 24h vets and they said his temperature is 39.9°C (should be 37) and they don’t know whats wrong with him except that he is in pain. They’re taking blood tests and putting him on a drip but they’re talking about needing x rays or ultrasounds too to find out what is wrong if the bloods don’t show anything. He is spending the night at the vets, which is already $600. If they don’t find anything in his blood that might show them whats going on its going to be +$700 for ultrasounds.

The problem is after spending the last three months taking Bus back and forth from the vets, and with his visit this morning we’ve exhausted the amount of money we have access to. We were already borrowing money for Bus’s bills (which add up to about $2000) and now we don’t know if we will be able to afford to even find out what is wrong with Dorian.

Hey There

Ink here, I’m really putting myself out here buy asking this…

I’m trying to raise money to pay back my FASFA debt so I can go back to school.

I went to college 3 years ago and was blessed enough to get grants from FASFA to pay for my schooling. However due to mental health issues and being hospitalized I had to drop out without finishing the semester. I can go back to school by applying for another FASFA grant but first I must pay back $1300 for dropping out early.

Money is really tight for my family and I. With some recent events we have even more financial strain. I do not have the funds to save up or add another expense right now. So if you could please donate and signal boost I would be so grateful.
