Regarding the look of Zelda herself, she is a ruler. So we want to make sure she is seen as a strong character in that she needs to look like a ruler, she needs to feel like a ruler. So, [she has] what you might consider a stronger look for the character. She is also a playable character here, so she needs to be able to go out and take out tons of enemies on her own. She needs to seem like a character they can do battle with.

Long live the queen!
casual gamers
I told him this yesterday but i want ned to take me on a date to a little coffee ship
I suspect it’s a typo but a little coffee ship does sound lovely. Order an espresso as they cast off and then take it out onto the upper decks to watch seals or seagulls or just enjoy the wind.
it was a typo but a coffee ship is definitely something that should be real
You should visit the Puget Sound some time because we basically have that.

Reblog if you've ever made a bad game.
I’m sorry that I keep going on about this but
I’m really tired that a lot of gamers are just so ADAMANT to shut down your excitement for a game with their personal dislike or hatred of said game
And this isn’t a “not allowed to hate a game I like thing” either like it’s totally ok to hate a game people like! It’s just the specific phenomena where they’ll go straight to gamers professing their excitement for an installment and then immediately shut them down with their unwarranted thoughts on the game
"Man I am so so excited for this"
"yeah well I think this game will suck!"
like shut the fuck up you are so obnoxious
Yeah I can't say this better.
Can someone please explain this picture to me?
A merman awaits his monster hunter lover for a night of forbidden passion.
that feel when tumblr calls you an “oppressor” just because youre white and cis

IM GOING TO BURST. IM BURST IGN
That image link is broken but if the feeling is anger at the systems that make you complicit in oppression then good. Embrace it. Use it to lift up the disadvantaged and knock the privileged off of their pedestals.
Angela Webber, Portland Mercury:
I’m shedding one of those responsibilities women in games feel—we think we have to play popular games because if we don’t, we’re “fake” and we don’t have a right to participate. But I honestly don’t give a crap. If you actively want to make my life worse, I’m...
I remember a documentary about the people who made Netscape and started the Mozilla project and I remember not being able to identify what operating systems they were using on their computers. Didn’t look like Windows. Didn’t look like the old Macintosh OS. I don’t think Linux was that popular then (90’s) so I assume some kind of proprietary workstation Unix. But idk. God I’m a nerd help me.
Maybe Solaris?

Were you always interested in dinosaurs, or did Dina make you more interested in them? I always loved them as a kid, but I got back into partly due to her, and it's neat how much we know about them, and how much is still being found out. Feathered dinos rule. Also, ever read All Yesterdays? I think she'd find it a good read.
I was always super into dinosaurs, which worried my very Creationist mother. I had many books on them, both true and false, but I always set the information in the true ones in that special “worldly lies” part of my brain. At one point I wanted to become a paleontologist.
But then, I think most kids do.
