A Self Portrait

The final of our Lexicon assignments. We had to do a self portrait. So I found the ugliest guy I know! Jk, jk. (This really is me. From about 2 weeks ago.) Again, we were limited in the types of marks we were allowed to use. If you scroll down far enough, you’ll see where I posted a much younger version of myself from my first or second year of college.Â

This was one of the assignments based on a lexicon of elements we had to create. Basically, every mark that made this image is accounted for and limited to only a few specific marks.Â

So. an update, I think is in order. I have been accepted to Falmouth University for their Illustration program. So far, so good. It’s everything I was hoping to get in grad school and more.Â
It is challenging, but, I think, that is the point. Anyway, I’m throwing some new pieces up here right quick. Please enjoy and feel free to message me if you want to make requests (drawing). We’ll see what I can do!
