Smoking Behind the Supermarket With You
So, i watched it. And then, i read it all.
Whenever i start a new manga i like to bring it here and comment as i read, but i couldn't this time. It was so good that I wanted to devour it all.
This is the age-gap plot done right. The guy is 45 and the girl 24 and in ANY momment i felt weirded out. It's so refreshing because the girl she acts young, but she does not act like a child (and most importantly, she does NOT look as one either).
And it's good to point out that the guy looks like he's 45. Some may not see this as a problem, to not look like it, but I feel that when they put older characters looking kinda young on age gap stories is a little ageist (???). I don't know how to explain better but, I think like, if you wanna do an older character, why are you scared to draw them as such? So I really like his design. And also, he's so sweet. Not the creepy old man, but actually sweet and caring.
This story is about two adults that get to know each other while smoking behind the supermarket. If you're thinking on reading it, go for it.
