I'm sure you know who I am. I don't really need to go into the details about what happened to me... Do I? Suffice it to say, everything you think you know... is a lie. I'm not the villain, I'm not the monster, that the world wants me to be. Even if my family can't see me as any other way. I am the archangel Lucifer. (And yes, alright, I Fell. Let's not go into that.) Oh, and I'm not to blame for all of your problems. You've done a remarkable job screwing yourselves over all on your own. I didn't bring sin into the world, regardless of what your little 'stories' tell you; I just may have... helped it come to life inside your broken and frail little forms. But believe as you will... Hey all. 

Sorry for the absence. 

Personal reasons. (Let's just leave it at that, shall we?) And when I felt in the Luci!Muse moments, I needed to focus more on my groups, than my independent account... you know how it is... 

Anyway... 

Let's just say I'm kinda-sorta here. I'll be doing the occasional reply, but I'm not going to be around, replying like crazy, checking every day, constantly, so many hours, like I was before. 

But yeah.. 

That's the status. That's the game plan. 

Let's see how it goes, shall we?

Michael bowed his head, believing he deserved every harsh word and more. Lucifer was right, of course he was right. He had left him. Betrayed him, in more way than one. Not siding with him in Heaven, calling him unforgivable names, designing the Cage, leaving him behind. It only confirmed Michael’s deep seated idea that he was a bad brother, a failure.

He had looked through the eyes of a soldier, rather than the eyes of a brother.

Michael’s vessel was smaller than Lucifer’s by a few inches, yet it seemed larger, like Lucifer was still out of his reach.

"I couldn’t defy Father, you know that. I follow orders just as you ignore them. It is in my nature. You will never absolve me, I’m not sure I want you to, but I am sorry." Michael glanced up into the borrowed blue eyes of his brother’s vessel. "I heard your screams. Always."

Unsure of what else to “say”, Michael took a step back and folded his wings tightly against his back. Back straight, face impassive. The perfect soldier.

Lucifer nearly balked at the way Michael stood before him. It was the vision of everything he had at one time cherished about his brother--and in one action, had caused the Morningstar to hate. To despise. 

It was the very image--the exact stance and look and perfect copy--of the soldier that had banished him. That had taken everything from him. 

That had destroyed the brother he had loved for so long. 

Lucifer shook his head at Michael's explanations, though. How could he accept them? Even as much as he wanted to reach out to his brother, to try and let everything of the past wash away (oh how he wanted that), Lucifer couldn't. He couldn't get over everything. 

Not yet... 

"Nature shouldn't have anything to do with it, Michael," he muttered. "I didn't always ignore orders, and you know that. It wasn't until--" Lucifer sighed. "If it was simply nature, how could you not find the strength, the power, to overcome it?" 

For me? 

He paced back and forth, his head shaking as he tried to make sense of it. Gaze wandering to Michael, only to see the firm and solid soldier, the emotionless being that reminded him of things he'd rather not have floating at the forefront of his mind... 

Hands clenched into hard fists as Lucifer stopped, the same thought sticking in his mind. I heard your screams. It only made the pain hit harder, the stab in his Grace that he had thought frozen to the point where such things no longer felt such agony too much... 

"You should have stopped them, Michael."

I’m just having some personal issues at the moment I’m trying to deal with. And unfortunately, it’s affecting my Luci!muse as well :( 

I’ll try and get around to them soon. I really will.
