After much planning, we’re happy to finally announce LGBT KI Week, a week-long event dedicated to LGBT fanworks within the Kid Icarus fandom!

When will the event take place? June 10th-16th! But don’t worry if you miss the first week; we’ll be hosting a make-up week between June 24th-30th.

How will this event work? Simple! Each day will have two prompts, and you can pick one (or both) to work with! After that, you just make a fanwork based on the prompt, tag it as #lgbtkiweek, and you’re good to go!

Kid Icarus PSA

This fandom has a ridiculously disproportionate amount of porn given how many kids we’ve got here, and that’s… not right.

So please, if you post nsfw content of the Kid Icarus characters: tag your porn as #kid thiccarus (phrase coined by @renegadereshiram).

And please try to keep your porn out of the main tags too.

I know this solution isn’t perfect, but when the fandom is comprised mostly of minors we need to be responsible with how easily accessible porn is to them, and keeping it all under one tag will make it so much easier to avoid if you don’t want to look at it.

(Even if you don’t interact with nsfw material in any capacity, please reblog this so we can get as many people on board as possible!)
