i thought i would make it

but it was all lies

broken windows

shapeless creatures

i thought i would make it

when i didn’t have the features

i thought i would make it

but i was just faking it

i write love stories

to understand what love is

to learn how can we could change

to wonder how it would feel

to be loved by someone

to daydream as a full job

to dream about you and the love you denied

to get something i will never have

how can you judge me for loving someone?

you don’t even know what that means.
