What if when Will asked “can I show you something” Mike was just like “no” and the scene ended
”do you want to be my friend?” and will says “not really”
“yeah?” “no.”
"cool." "nah."
“crazy together?” “uh no”
"It's not my fault you don't like girls." "Actually I do."
“what if you wanna join another party?” “i probably will.”
"i feel like i lost you or something.. does that make sense?"
"not really."
"will is gonna die in s5"
OH YEAH?? WELL THIS IMAGE SAYS OTHERWISE
Why the hell this crunchy i give up.
strong will supremacy >:)
(Some parts of this looks a little goofy but dont mind this was mostly just me doodling)
ronance also nancy is fun to draw
ohhhh the brainrot is bad
@queer-coded-sidekick NO MY BMC HYPERFIXATION IS RESURFACING
nah bc if the movie theater scene from s3 happened between literally any other duo it would feel so off and everybody would be like “ummm”
like ??? imagine this scene with. i dunno. mike and dustin. max and will. i’m just spitballing. it would feel so weird because of how insanely intimate it is, but because mike and will’s relationship has been portrayed in a different light throughout the entire show, nobody questions it.
now, alternatively, imagine this scene with max and lucas. nancy and jonathan. hell, even mike and el if you want. you’d immediately clock it as romantic, right? yes! you would! the audience would!
"it's scary cause I just feel like the world is getting bigger and bigger and bigger but... With you here. I just forget it all. And suddenly, my whole world just becomes you."

Oh my god. new obsession unlocked, androgynous EVERYBODY
OH THIS IS SO ?!?!/1
WAIT El said Will wouldn't show her what he was working on, which means she would regularly ask him what he was painting and he would always show it to her. Him not showing her the painting was "weird" and made her think it was for someone special
It's basically canon El has gushed over Wills art before and loves seeing what he creates
*clears throat* *adjusts tie* at rink o mania mike interpreted the “and us?” from will as romantic and the “we’re friends, we’re friends” was him denying it, then will counteracted that with “well we used to be best friends”. *flips through notecards* in mike’s apology to will he says they should be a team again, then amends: “friends. best friends”
therefore: “friends” = coded nonromantic, “best friends” = coded romantic. the apology was a veiled mike confession scene. goodnight everybody *trips and falls off the podium with a loud crash* *groans pathetically*
will byers gives me parental instincts I didn't know I had
still so funny that argyle saw Mike making Will sad at the airport and IMMEDIATELY vibechecked him with that shirt tag check. he rlly said ‘not on my watch, this gay lil guy is under the protection of argyle the almighty. little byers get behind me.’
