hello, I am shredderpostcentral. I know this blog is very tiny and will not (likely) get that much attention but I wanted to make an intro post. so I'm going to. this is MY blog I do what I want.

I am 23 years old (damn near almost dead in the grave, an ancient relic, I'm so old and dusty). also a man, I use he/him thanks.

what will I post? everything. clips from shows, edits, merch I find, reblogs of fanart, writing snippets. if it has a modicum of Shredder in it, I'm posting it baby. I'm still not finished with some tmnt media so forgive me if I neglect some iterations, this blog is just for fun and not meant to be comprehensive.

also do not be afraid to talk to me if you want! I'm nice I promise, I made this blog not only to post about Shredder (ok mostly to talk about Shredder) but also because I want to see/make content for fellow Shredder enjoyers to...... enjoy. though I might not respond promptly and I can be pretty dry talking to new people.

I think Shredder would try to be kinder to the turtles, but sometimes his "intimidating" image would appear, which would slightly frighten the turtles. Saki would quickly come to his senses and calm down

I would apologize for not doing much lately but aside from mental health excuses the biggest obstacle to content creation for this account was the release of the Fraud update to ULTRAKILL. absolutely tanked the stocks in every other fandom in my brain for a good few months unfortunately.

more shredder content to come if I lock in. some edits in the works and MAYBE writing snippets but I can't promise anything. if I could draw I would. other stuff maybe though promise. this is mostly a threat for future shredderpostcentral to do the things I write here. but he is a lazy bastard that I hate and there are no promises unfortunately.

I found out on tv tropes that in Japan, Shredder’s name, Oroku Saki, is changed to Oroku Sawaki, because apparently Saki is a feminine name. I personally find this kinda funny for some reason. (Krang would totally tease Shredder for having a ‘girly’ name, lol.)

Also there was gonna be an episode called Shredder in Love…both of us would have to get in line to propose to him lol.

I'm glad you bring that up because that gives me an excuse to talk about it. while the reasonings for his name may be questionable, I believe I have a very simple and easy explanation for why he might have a feminine name. transman who just kept his birth name.

I have such a crush on 87 Shredder; he’s the best. I would ask him out if he was real, although I guess he’s already married to Krang lol. (Even James Avery joked about it!) But for live action, you can’t beat 1990 movie Shredder; he’s super intimidating, calculating and badass. Also my second favorite villain to end up in a trash compactor. 😅

also I choose to believe Krang and 87 Shredder are so divorcecore that we still have a shot because Krang cannot keep all of that to himself. his greed disgusts me /j

quick thing bc I just really wanted to show off this absolute DIVA.

I am so sad this Shredder seems to exist solely for this (very cute) short, would've loved to see him in action. the short is actually an exclusive from San Diego Comic Con in 2016! plus if you like Invader Zim, it was written by the same guy, Jhonen Vasquez.
