Hey!
From time-to-time, I hear non-binary positivity breach the topics of going on HRT, as well as top surgery (usually for transmascs, but I will get into this separately)...
But almost never bottom surgery.
So I am here to say this:
If you presently have a penis and to ANY degree would be happier without it, this doesn't automatically mean you must be a woman. You don't have to be a binary woman to be valid in wanting to have a vagina. Vaginoplasty and/or orchiectomy aren't just for binary women.
If you presently have a vagina and to ANY degree would be happier without it, this doesn't automatically mean you must be a man. You don't have to be a binary man to be valid in wanting to have a penis. Metoidioplasty AND phalloplasty aren't just for binary men.
Being non-binary also doesn't mean you have to "make peace" with your natal parts, you are allowed to transition your body in whichever way validates you the most.
Your body is yours, and only you get to live with your body for all your life.
in my opinion headcanons are usually better when they work with canon rather than against. and like, its possible to have non-canon-compliant headcanons that still fit into the story
"this character likes oranges in the story but i think they like apples instead" - eh, doesnt really strike my fancy
"i think this character was raised in an orange-loving household so they feel pressured to pretend to like oranges even though they secretly like apples" - NOW youve got me hooked
iunno, sometimes canon is so bad you just have to go against it. but sometimes you can make ideas work with canon and i find that often makes a better and more coherent story
Guess who finished their junior year of college and is up to trouble 😏

I keep thinking about how Racine spent the whole movie attacking anyone who called Anaia ugly but also immediately, easily embraced the excuse that it had been better to think their mother was dead instead of seeing how she was disfigured like Anaia
i knew rancine was gonna die in the end but i just didn't want to accept it. sure its about putting an end to the cycles of abuse and trauma and rancine Was starting to sadistic like their dad. maybe i just like the catharsis of female characters leaving nothing but chaos in their trail to finish their goal. the ending felt kind of off but the film was so good
