You know what would be really cool?
If companies that produce bottles of juices like Coke, Oasis, Fanta, etc started putting dispensers in stores.
People could bring in their own bottles and pay for say a litre of juice or 500 ml.
It would save on so much plastic and encourage people to get their own water bottles to carry about and re-use.

Ramadan has come again, to save us from ourselves. Some of us have fallen into despair, wondering when the help of Allah will come. Some of us are drowning in sin. Some of us are ready to give up. For many of us, the night has been long and it may feel as though this pandemic will never end.
But Allah's help is promised, and no darkness lasts forever. Allah has sent Ramadan like a rising sun at the end of a long night. He has sent this month of mercy and hope to save us from ourselves. To liberate the souls shackled by despair and free the hearts enslaved to sin. To show us that truly with hardship, comes ease. And to remind us that no night lasts forever because the decree of Allah is swift and inescapable. And so we bow. We bow to His power. We bow to His mercy. We bow to the opportunity to show our gratitude for this gift. Let this Ramadan be a time of renewal. Transformation. And change. A chance to change our lives and ourselves. A stage to demonstrate to our Lord that, indeed, we hear and we obey. That indeed we love our food and our water.
But we love Him more.
Let this Ramadan be an opportunity to show our gratitude for another year of life. Of health. Of faith. Another year to witness this month, while so many others could not. And let it be a month of service and compassion towards ourselves and others. Let our kindness begin with our families and extend to others. For truly the best of you are best to their family.
And finally, let this be a time to let go of the chains that have bound us to the past--to the pain, the mistakes, the regret. Let us free ourselves from the grudges and the rage. Let us finally let go and let God. Let us mend what was broken and begin again. Let us see this new moon as a new start. For all of us.
A new chance to let go. To heal.
And then rise again.
Ramadan mubarak to you all.

You shouldn’t judge crazy people in public, maybe they’re a study abroad student without access to therapy, substituting it with singing Nobody by Mitski to themselves in empty streets and then jumping up into a neglected planter and dancing to Don’t Stop Me Now by Queen
“May you learn to forgive yourself for chasing after what could not be, for falling apart, for not being kinder to yourself. May you come to terms with yourself and embrace yourself entirely. May you find peace within yourself soon.”

“If ever there is tomorrow when we’re not together… there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we’re apart… I’ll always be with you.”

“Do what nature demands. Get a move on — if you have it in you — and don’t worry whether anyone will give you credit for it. And don’t go expecting Plato’s Republic; be satisfied with even the smallest progress, and treat the outcome of it all as unimportant.”

Why the fuck are all of you sleeping on the new movie Abominable?
It’s literally got a Chinese protagonist voiced by a Chinese actress (I know how much that matters to some of ya’ll). The animation is beautiful, the story is heartfelt, it totally flips typical tropes on it’s head, has realistic characteristic development and the relationship between the female protagonist and her male best friend is a strictly platonic one that never delves into romantic territory. It’s not even hinted at the end. Just please go watch it if you can
