Phornography Zine
The guys from Phornography Zine told us a little bit about their new project, preserving contemporary photography in physical zines.
What would happen if André Kertész, Saul Leiter, William Eggleston or Stephen Shore started to take pictures nowadays […] Would they have had the same success? […] Or would an Eggleston picture last a couple of hours on his followers feed, achieve 60 likes and be lost forever in the cloud? - Phornography
Check out the whole statement and some more pictures at our blog and check out Phornography’s website and IG channel.

Featured Photographer | Benjamin Hoste
Had a good talk with benhoste about his project on Plato and his work in general. One of my favorite parts must be this:
To this day the only true thing that motivates me to pick up a camera is the unknown. I enjoy making photographs, I enjoy the technical process, but in all honesty what really drives me is the opportunity to explore the unknown and engage with subjects and their stories along the way. - Ben Hoste
You can read the whole Q&A and see more of Ben’s photography at http://thisveryinstant.com/benjamin-hoste/.
Also, see http://benjaminhoste.com/ for more of his work and further information on Plato, Mo. Population 109.
Neat images by benhoste from Plato, the US population center.
Had a quick talk with emilyporterphotographs about her series The Material That Holds You Together and her work in general.
The Material That Holds You Together is based around memory triggers and what moments stay with us throughout life. Why do these small moments stay with us? Are they significant in some way? When we miss someone or some place why is it that small moments from our experiences stay with us? - Emily Porter
