Eri takes a deep breath, shoving her nose up into the air, pushing her shoulders back and walking forward with her head held high. Her heels click as she comes to a complete and powerful, confident stop in front of them.

“Hello. I am Eris von Rrong. Otherwise known as the Demon Heiress... Eris. Currently known as SHSL Prosecutor... but I’m sure my esteemed prestige proceeds me, as, though this may surprise you, does yours. Your talent interested me perhaps moreso than anyone else in this class.

“Though it would be perfectly foolish to call app development as important as /my/ job and /my/ incredible talent for enacting justice with venom towards all who deserve its wrath--app development is an intriguing new field of technology and employment alike... capable of achieving almost as many feats as I will probably accomplish during /my/ lifetime... and capable of being a medium and a true test of a diligent and honed mind. Not to mention... a very fine drive to succeed.”

She smiles at her own joke, but quickly looks away, and down. For a fraction of a moment, it may look as though her confidence has disappeared. but no, just as quickly as it had drove away, it returns with a vengeance!

“And thus! I admire your talent and your dedication to your craft. And also thusly, I would like to ask, in an extension of both Youthful enthusiasm and my mild, tentative respect..."

She swallows, voice going very soft.

“What... um. What.. what... ‘games’ do you... have... on your phone?”

Eris feels herself flush even under her dramatic make-up. She hopes it hides itself well enough.

Civil Hearing : Eris + Kuroi ★ Hoshi || Pre-Game

Eris had been well-aware that Hope's Peak Academy accepted, no, no, /invited/ criminals within the ranks of their student files, and it wasn't as if Eris hadn't done her research on to /all/ the students attending the same semester as her. No. There was no reason to be surprised seeing a notorious sukeban roam the halls... but... the fact that it wasn't /her/ sukeban... Well. That remained to be downright disappointing.

She allows herself a moment to stare across the hall at her as the delinquent talks with a student far less important than herself. For a moment, Eris herself looks unaffected. Her gaze is dull and disillusioned, eyes not quite fixed but not quite fallen. Her hands form loose fists at her sides, and gloved thumbs rub over gloved knuckles.

Finally, an eyebrow raises as she begins to question something other than herself. And, /still/ questioning herself, she finds herself walking across the hall, squeezing both of those same fists as tight as she can--and opening up the right hand as wide as she can as if to force it.

"Hello. I am Eris von Rrong, otherwise known as 'The Demon Heiress... Eris.' You may have known me from my recent exploits and accomplishments such as prosecuting and convicting a client in a famous case thought to be cold over two decades... or perhaps from putting delinquents, hoodlums, ne'er-do-wells, and /gangsters/ such as yourself and those under your employ in their place (also referred to by those of us with moral consciences and authority as /prison/). Regardless, I am SHSL Prosecutor. You are Kuroi (irrelevant superfluous 'star symbol') Hoshi, SHSL Sukeban. This of course means that while we are not classmates, we will both be enjoying a part of our /perfect/, Youthful High School Days together."

She takes a deep breath.

"And so, let us keep them  and /protect/ them as such. Both of us would be as foolish as the most foolish of foolish, foolish fools to foolishly seek to destroy the tentative harmony already set in between us. You have your reasons for attending this supposedly honorable institution, I have mine, but there is /no/ reason for us to fight. And thus, in conclusion, I extend to you an offer of something almost-quite-similar to friendship. A begrudging respect. One where you respect me for being absolutely and completely Perfect at what I do... and one where I respect you for being absolutely and completely apparently exceptional at being a substandard citizen with no moral values."

She tries for a smile and wiggles her hand up and down. "This is the part where you shake my hand, fraulein."
