Hajime was in his cottage trying to figure out what talent he had, still coming up short, raising an eyebrow as he looked up to see his door opening! He would wonder who it was, his expression turning from somewhat excited to the usual frown at who it was, that person being, of course.. Komaeda. Normally anyone else would’ve been pretty disappointed or angry that the boy had found his way in, but Hajime felt otherwise. He always felt sort of comfortable around the boy, but he wasn’t too sure why. “Hey Komaeda, did you need something?” He inquired as he looked up at the other boy, raising an eyebrow.
He stood at the entrance, the smile tugging softly at the corners of his lips, delicately and kindly painted on his expression. Komaeda had found himself bored– among the midst of this chaos, I know, and started to wander around aimlessly. Following a few minutes of pensive meandering and pacing the shoreline of the island, the student had made his way to Hajime’s place. Upon entering, and hearing the few words uttered at him, he waved slightly and replied. “Hello, Hinata-kun…no, thank you, I suppose I might’ve just gotten lost. Then it’s lucky I ended up here, right? Anyway, that aside…how are you?”
“Uhm.. sure it’s lucky.” He let out a somewhat awkward cough. if one thing about Komaeda made Hajime even somewhat uncomfortable, it was most likely how he acted around him, he always found Komaeda acting weirdly open and happy in his presence, though he never bothered to look in to it, just cutting it down to Komaeda being… himself. “I’m kind of in the middle of something right now, but I guess I could stop for a moment and talk.” He turned back to Komaeda with a smile, waiting for his answer.
He wasn’t one to push himself onto others (willingly, at least), he thinks. It’s all just such wonderful serendipity he needs to remind himself to be grateful for that he keeps running into people he’d prefer to spend time with. Komaeda walked closer to his classmate, green-grey eyes that swirled like marble brimming with that inherent icy curiosity of his. “Well, then, it’s alright. I’d hate to bother you or interrupt anything you’re doing.” (He would really love if the other could spare a moment to talk, but he didn’t want to believe someone like him would have a say in this matter.)
He decided to humor Komaeda for however long he planned to spend with him, making sure to remember later on to continue searching for his talent, looking at Komaeda now. “So, what do you wanna do?” He lifted an eyebrow, awaiting his answer on how they planned to entertain themselves in this moment of boredom, as he stretched a bit. He was pretty tired after the day, but he could manage to hang out with Komaeda, he thought.
Even if only slightly, his features had lit up then. It was getting more than a little boring roaming the same beach and shore, and although Komaeda himself didn’t particularly mind, it was nice to spend some time with his friend. “I was hoping perhaps we could just talk…but you mentioned you were in the middle of something. What is it, Hajime? I’d love to help you if I could…be a ladder rung for you to reach your hopes.”
Hajime looked around before letting out a sigh, looking back at the other boy. “It’s nothing, I was just trying to remember my talent, but it’s fine! We can do something fun.” He insisted they did something else, as whenever Komaeda started talking about hope, he’d start becoming a bit weird and made Hajime pretty uncomfortable when he talked about it.
They all say that they were mass produced in secret, during the time where monokuma were destroying the world. To give aid to those who needed it. But they failed and were never activated.
Then why are they with me?
(( distant hyperventilating over splatoon 2 global testfire ))
So what are you going to do with them first?
I think I'm going to avoid them.
M!A there are 500 usamis and monomis following you for three days.
Hajime gulped as he looked at the ofean of Usamis and Monomis following him. “What the hell?!”
(( UHM? ))
you know what
