The young man groaned and stirred in his sleep, slowly gaining consciousness. His hands move up to his face and rub his eyes. He stared straight ahead without realizing what he was looking at. Spacious... and... people. Xiao suddenly sat up--
Too quickly, now the world was going all blurry. He blinked a few times, then steadily stood up and rubbed his eyes hard after seeing what was above his head.
This was definitely a new place. An aquarium-bar thing. Iffy on the aquarium bit but he was pretty confident about the latter. He’s… been to one. He didn’t do anything illegal there, just accompany his upperclassman. Or, er, ex-upperclassman. He’s not escorting any high schoolers to a bar. Anyway, speaking of high schoolers, there were a heap of them. His... classmates? That’s right, he was supposed to be at Hope’s Peak Academy! But instead...
Xiao wrinkled his nose, disgusted at the amount of people still lying around unconscious or hitting up a conversation with the rest. How can they talk in a situation like this? Stuck in Sea World. There should be more panic. Or something.
The young man scratched his cheek as he stood close to the walls, eyeing his company. This was bad. He recognized some faces and those faces meant money. Kidnapping was the first possible option to come to mind. He himself was worth a large sum of money… and more. Heck, he’s priceless! It wouldn’t be very surprising if he was held for ransom. And the others? Whatever. He’d prefer not to come into contact with any of them.
Finding everything and everyone else unimportant (and apparently less interesting than bottled milk), Xiao headed straight for the door. His hand latched onto the handle and yanked it--!
Already tired and more annoyed than before, the actor kicked the door and swore ungraceful profanities under his breath. Was he really talking to a door? He slammed his fists repeatedly into the exit, paying no mind to anyone else. Oh, how embarrassing this’d be if this was recorded… Actually, at the notion of that, Xiao growls and starts kicking the door harder. So much for a guy who’s been privately trained.
Oh. Ha, he snickered to himself. It must be a push door. Aaaand push!!
Out and away from the crowd back there, Xiao ventured off to... Exactly where was he going? Well, Plan A backfired quickly.
He pushed - er, pulled the same door to return to the same room but stopped halfway. They probably saw all that. It’s kind of hard to ignore him, of all people. Xiao stood mid-doorway, making an intimidating face at the ground.
They’re not getting anywhere like this.
