Makoto icons from the Mementos Mission manga
[I came back and I have 250 followers? I haven’t been active in MONTHS, I’m... wow.
If you’re still active, give this post a like and I’ll check you out? I don’t think I have the time to comb through 200+ new people and figure out who is still posting asdjkadfsdf]
Send me ⊙0⊙ to see a glimpse of a canon character I’ve played/considered playing
@eiiha liked for a starter!
“I read somewhere that a cup of plain, black coffee once per day is actually good for your heart...” Makoto said, as she skimmed the menu. Some of those sugary lattes really sounded delicious, but now that she was an official member of the Phantom Thieves, she had all the more reason to mind her eating habits. “Do you know if that’s true?”

Makoto sighed as she looked out the window of Cafe Leblanc. Raining was an understatement; it looked like a monsoon was raging outside. So much for exploring the city with Takeshi. He was still new in town, after all; as a life long resident, Makoto had so many places she wanted to show her new friend.
“I guess we’ll have to reschedule...”
@jououpansa liked for a starter!
“I know my invitation was a bit last minute, but thank you, for coming anyway.” Another weekend at home alone sounded... well, lonely, so when Sae called to say that, once again, she would be pulling an all-nighter at the office, Makoto decided to invite her new friend over. Maybe slumber parties were a big childish for high schoolers, but she was tired of being alone. And tired of throwing out half of every well thought out meal she prepared. “Please, make yourself at home; dinner should be ready soon.”

“That’s it, I think I’ve had enough.” Makoto put her controller down; she could feel her face growing red with frustration. “How does anyone actually play this game? The controls aren’t exactly intuitive...”
[Like for a quick starter?]

“I guess, it just seems sort of hard to trust any of them these days.”
“I want to get into a good college for computer programming but my grades have tanked this year. I don’t know if I can make up for it.”
She couldn’t argue with that. After all the volleyball team had been through, Makoto couldn’t blame him for not trusting the teachers. She herself was still coming to terms with the fact that many of them did not have the students’ best interests at heart.
“In that case... Please, rely on me.” She couldn’t help feeling responsible; not just for Mishima’s predicament, but for the other students, as well. She had done a horrible job, protecting them... “If you like, I can approach the teachers on your behalf; given Kamoshida-sensei’s... rather detailed confession, they should at least offer you an opportunity to earn some extra credit. In the mean time, I can help you study as well.”
[I... I swore I had more than just that one reply to do. I hate to be That Guy, but if I owe you, can you let me know?]

Continued from [x] @shujinqueen
“Hey, don’t mention. You’re among good company.” He nods. Takeshi wasn’t one to mince words when it mattered. Seeing what was on her side, opened his eyes to them not being so different in terms of their struggles. He was fortunate that their grievances were all cleared up and now they were on equal terms once more. “I’m here for you so don’t be afraid to reach out yeah?” He along with the others were there for her. They were like a family of misfits after all. The thought alone amused him.
Having someone to lean on... Makoto hadn’t realized how much she needed that, until very recently. She had always thought of herself as the sort of person who could do anything on her own. But even just the offer - don’t be afraid to reach out - made her entire body feel lighter. When had her burden gotten so heavy, that she could barely carry it on her own? She wasn’t sure, but that fact was becoming clearer and clearer by the day.
“I...” How could she possibly thank him - all of them - for something like that? Returning the favor was the only thing she could think of. “Please, feel free to rely on me, as well. I want to be a student body president, and a teammate, that everyone can depend on.”

[Happy Sunday! Replies are incoming.]
“Nobody fucks with my friends. Except me. But that’s different.”
“... I appreciate the sentiment, thank you.” It was... comforting, in an odd way. If for no other reason than it was nice to be referred to as a friend.

The police station was... nothing like what she expected. From the outside, Makoto could tell the building was in rough shape. Inside, it looked as if it were falling apart. Still, more than half of the workers appeared to be taking their jobs seriously; but that still left several officers who didn’t even try to be sneaky about slacking off. As Makoto made her way to the office she was looking for, she even noticed one man was sleeping at his desk. Sleeping!
Well, that was all for the best, really. Makoto’s ultimate goal was to reform the system from the inside. Most of the time, the things that were worth doing weren’t easy.
Makoto was happy to find, when she reached the office, that her new partner was not sleeping. In fact, he was so focused on his computer that he didn’t appear to notice, when Makoto entered and shut the door behind her.
“Sanada-san,” Makoto took extra care to straighten her back, as she saluted her new boss. “Makoto Niijima, reporting. I look forward to working with you.”
Reblog this you’re okay with late replies.
