I think my favorite thing about dogs is that they can, in fact, perceive the tone/mood of music, just as they can with human voices.

I think the best part about this is that there was an actual academic study done to find out what music dogs preferred, they set it up by kenneling dogs and figuring out which kind of music caused them to be more relaxed in the situation, and they found out that most dogs prefer soft rock and reggae.

fun story I first became obsessed with the harry potter series and hermione in particular in yr 3 of primary school and I decided I wanted to be like hermione in every way so I started reading *lots* and working super hard in school, got a reputation for bookishness and being the smart kid that I kept up into high school and lol here I am graduating in a few weeks from Cambridge all bc I adored this clever bookworm in a children’s book series and absorbed her into my personality as a child like ???

A cup of coffee to the left, books stacked high beside you, knowing you’ve accomplished so many things, and that feeling that you’re finally getting somewhere. And you’re okay for once in your life. Update: When I made this post about two years ago, I was in a terrible spot in life. Things were bad, things were rough, and I didn’t know if I would make it to graduation. And now, two years later, I’m in my freshman year of college. And things are great, and things are smooth, and I know I’m going to make it far in life.

I’m finally the girl in this post. I’m the happiest I’ve been, studying my little heart out, knowing that I’m trying my best and sometimes that’s the best and only thing I can do. Life can get better, even if you don’t believe it will. I’ve become who I want to be. And I know you can too.
