There is no male equivalent to Hooters because grown ass women don’t create a demand for it. Onlyfans and porn could be banned and outlawed today and the majority of people angry about it would be grown ass men, and many young males. Males are known to literally riot and become more violent against their own families during soccer and football season, but women are more emotional and driven by their feelings right? The most emotional woman will never compare to the average male who lacks emotional regulation and the ability to articulate his own thoughts and feelings.

I have a disease and it's that whenever a woman gets publicly flayed, I will always ignore the stated "moral" justification, and reverse engineer what actually made people mad. Whatever reason you say you hate this woman even if it's technically valid, if I can point to a more powerful person who's doing the same thing and it's getting a fraction of the reaction. Then the issue is not whatever people are talking about, simple as that.

The triggers are always: beauty, discipline, competence, self-possession, talent, success. that leads to insecurity and insecure people need some form of externalisation because god forbid they take an honest look at themselves, then comes the justification (politics, hating capitalists, attitude etc.). The hatred/unease is stable and the reasons always change, if it was truly about behaviour there'd be some fluctuation in the hate. That's why I can't take people's so called "reasons" seriously.

Some women's good traits are just triggering to the point where they short circuit people's brains. so like when these women do something wrong the wave of hatred isn't just about "morals" LMAO it's relief, finally I have a way to punish this person who was making me feel uneasy without having to admit it.

idk how to write this without sounding corny but social media isn't activism or whatever blah blah blah but every day I'm so thankful for every single woman on here who has ever reblogged a feminist post onto my dash, shared their insight about misogyny, challenged my biases, posted excerpts from feminist texts, reblogged posts to add additions to connect dots and open my third eye, linked articles about women's current events, etc etc

I'm sure it's often thankless and feels like it's not affecting anything but you never know if a lesbian in alberta who's never thought about that before or never had the facts to back it up might be reading :+)

some posts that have like shifted my entire way of thinking about something have like 500 notes. Like. Do they know they changed my life? Do they know they gave me the power to contribute a feminist perspective in a conversation on that subject?
