Intersex people can be AFAB. Intersex people can be AMAB. Intersex people can identify as cis, trans, somewhere in-between, both, neither, or something else entirely.

Not everyone knows they're intersex from birth. Not every intersex condition is outwardly visible from birth. Not every intersex condition is outwardly visible at all. Plenty of intersex people don't even know they're intersex.

Relying on birth assignment as some sort of cohesive description of someone's anatomy and lived experience really doesn't work. Treating intersex as a distinct third category different than "AMAB or AFAB" also doesn't work.

Gender and sex, and the way these categories are assigned to us, cannot be put into neat little boxes, no matter how hard you try.

Voice Actors Aren’t Rich

Did you know that the average voice actor only makes about $31,400 a year? That’s around $1,500 less than the US median for individuals. When John DiMaggio says he thinks all voice actors should be paid more, he’s not just a millionaire out to get more millions. He’s someone who can afford to risk passing up a contract fighting to raise the wages of those who can’t afford to. He’s absolutely right when he says that VAs are treated and paid like shit and he’s absolutely right to draw attention to the issue.

I hate how Takumi simps r like 'oh he has ~negative character traits~ and thats what makes him an interesting character!'

Like no queen a male character with Negative Character Traits that make him Interesting as a character is fucking Ren, an addict who consistently doesn't understand his love interests desires for independence and has a toxic way of viewing love and believes that she's somehow selfish for not wanting to settle down and have a baby with him, who sees how horribly Takumi treats others (Hachi, Nobu, Shin, and even Reira) and does painfully little to stop it or step in, despite this he does try to protect them in ways that he can without directly coming into conflict with Takumi and takes on a big brother role to Reira and Hachi and tries his best to love people in the flawed way that he can. He grows to accept Nana's desire for independence while still needing him even though he doesn't understand it. He tries and does succeed in conquering his addiction, with and without Takumi around.

Takumi, meanwhile, is straight up just a gaslighting, manipulative, rapist who treats the people around him like shit.

Stan Ren Honjo a flawed king who fails but at least tries.
