I just loved how snarky she was. Then Aemond's face of "I just saved your life despite my destroyed liver... a thank you would be nice". I just know their scenes will be delicious in s3 🤣

This is also a wonderful scene!! (I'm writing this for the umpteenth time lol. Episode 5 was actually pretty good) Aemond's words about admiring his brother seemed questionable to me at first, but then I thought about it and decided, "Why not?" We saw their interaction when they were older, but as a little child, Aemond could certainly admire and love his older brother. And of course, it was incredibly painful for him to grow up and end up being bullied by his own brother. It really hurt. He grew up trying his best to be the best, but he still felt nothing but neglect. And his connection with Vhagar is what made him significant, and without it, he's not himself.

So far, the scenes with Alys were sweet. And especially the final one, I even smiled. I don't trust her yet, of course. But maybe there will be a real connection there in the end.

The only thing that makes me smile now is the discussion of the natural fluffiness and waviness of Aemond's hair, who has not yet managed to steal Alyse's curling iron along with the care oils and is furious with the humidity in Harrenhal.

It still pains me to realize that the first time Aemond happened was at the age of 13. It's terrible, he was, in fact, raped... Did his mother know about the incident? Did she understand what her child had been through? Did Aemond come to her with this?

If I remember correctly, something similar happened to Alisent when she got married... There is also a huge age difference between her and Viserys...
